Close to the main attractions like St Ives , the Lizard , Lamorna Wink . Lots of places to have a snack or just a coffee at reasonable prices . Bus service excellent , easy to use , better than the car at times as roads very narrow. We found a Pub called the The Long Boat , as OAP ,s they served a 3 course meal In the evenings for £10.95 . Soup , main ,also choice of two sweets . We enjoyed this place as clean , food lovely ,enough for a smaller appetite.at the right price ! We love Penzance as a base for our Cornish holidays.
We love Penzance as a base for our Cornish holidays. We usually have a short break there because we know it so well, but always come away wanting more. Penzance is a very handy location for easy access to all the popular destinations in that area, whilst offering a good base itself for culture, festivals, art galleries, fishing history and easy walking access to Newlyn, Mousehole and St. Michael’s Mount. And definitely worth visiting are the Turk’s Head and the Admiral Benbow, the two oldest pubs in town and both steeped in ancient Cornish history.Guest review byChristianneUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Penzance has lovely walks including the coast path. There are many good pubs and restaurants. I love real ale and the beer at The Crown was the best of all! Of significant importance to me is the train station and bus station; the bus services are very good and also mostly quite frequent. Penzance provides a perfect hub from which to visit many beautiful places in Cornwall. Hayle beach is at the top of my list of magnificent beaches. Lovely parks and gardens, plenty of shopping, supermarkets, bars, restaurants and places of historic interest. Would recommend the Admiral Benbow Inn. Town and seaside location. Long promenade - you can walk right to Newlyn. Plenty of taxis, bus and train station within walking distance. Near St. Michael's Mount and good transport for all tourist attractions such as The Eden Project, Landsend, the Minack Theatre, and Mousehole. Good access to the South West Coastal path leading to unspoilt coves. I didn't have a car but no problems getting around. Would recommend walking from Sennen Cove to Landsend. A little over a mile but quite steep at beginning and it will take a while as you will want to stop often to take in the views, the geology and to take photos. Landsend hotel for food and drink and Landsend experience worth the walk. You can bus back to your hotel!Guest review byMilesUnited Kingdom

The location is great, close to all area especially Mousehole which is a must place to visit in Cornwall. A short 10-15 mins drive can get you to few beautiful town. Free street parking and you will always find a place to park if you can’t reserve the parking space of the property. The apartment is gorgeous, everything looks modern and honestly very clean, same standards as a proper hotel. The bed linen also the bath towels were beautifully clean and plenty of them .There was tea & coffee in the room decaf included . The location in Penzance was really close to the places we wanted to visit . The bus service from the town also excellent . Really lovely gesture to be offered tea and cake in the garden which we really appreciated after a long drive. Very attentive owners who did everything they could to accommodate us.
