We loved the peaceful location and the pretty garden.
We loved the peaceful location and the pretty garden. The property is bright and modern whilst retaining some character with thick walls and deep windowsills. We found it easy to travel to some of Northumberland’s well known attractions-Bamburgh castle, Lindisfarne and Alnwick castle. Although there is a pub in walking distance we found we needed to travel a bit further for something other than a pub meal. We found a great Turkish restaurant in Alnwick and splashed out on an exceptional meal at a nearby (20 mins drive) boutique hotel. The lovely beach was a pleasant 10 minute walk away. We only stayed 3 nights but wished we’d stayed longer for local walks. The surrounding area is beautiful.Guest review byAnneUnited Kingdom
