The owners are lovely, very friendly and helpful! They provided us with a delicious VEGAN breakfast;). The little house was very clean, tastefully decorated - as it was rather cold during our stay it was very convenient that we could regulate the heating as we needed it. Nice and big bathroom with bathtub and shower. We would defenitly come back if in the area.

The home is situated so that you get a clear view of the sea and, with binoculars, you can watch the dolphins. A home away from home. We went out of season so the site was quiet and very relaxing. Entertainment was available by the Haven site but we did not take advantage of this. The Cambrian Arms pub, across the road, do excellent, delicious food. Only wish we had found it earlier in the holiday. The walk to the beach is steep but pleasant. For people with COPD or walking problems it can cause some problems and the walk back from New Quay is steep. Visit the small Marine exhibition and take the boat trips, well worth it. I would recommend.

New Quay is a lovely little harbour village with loads of eating places and coffee shops. Not sign posted very well though to get to harbour and parking areas. Locals friendly. Loveliest surprise was seeing dolphins within minutes of arriving. Unfortunately the weather was awful on the weekend we went so didn't get to do boat trips or beach. Don't want to big it up too much as want to go back again and if loads of people get to know how lovely New Quay is then it could be overrun with tourists.

    New Quay is gorgeous!

New Quay is gorgeous! Quite small but really quaint and the locals are so welcoming. We are vegan so it was tricky to find vegan food but when we asked places, they easily accommodated us. The Blue Bell is to be recommended, great owner and staff and lovely vegan burger (downstairs to sit with dogs as we did, but if you sit upstairs the view is incredible!) The WatchHouse created us the best vegan pizza we have EVER had and wow, the view was incredible and we even caught sign of the dolphins! We actually discovered it quite by chance when staying in Aberarth last year and returned just for this gorgeous place. Can't wait to return, really loved our stay there x

New Quay fishing harbour is such a beautiful place to stay with your family. The Dolphin boat ride cannot be missed. We also attended the NQ Wales festival and would definitely go again and again. It's one of our favourite places to be during the Summertime. Plus a visit to Aberaeron and Llangrannago, Llanrhystyd etc. Such beauty!

Great resort, dolphins are the main act, bird life was brilliant as well. The boat trip staff are highly trained and very enthusiastic to share their love of nature with you. Restaurants in New Quay are superb, you do need to book even out if season. Everything is close together which is very suitable for people with limited mobility.

New Quay is a lovely small town in West Wales. The beaches are beautiful and are often visited by dolphins who are great to watch. It has a few shops, restaurants/cafes which are all worth a visit. It’s a little gem.

New Quay is a gorgeous visit - we treated ourselves to the 2 hour dolphin spotting boat trip and were rewarded with dolphins and seals as well as plenty of sea birds and a great tour. Amazing ice cream from Crème Pen Cei - not cheap but worth every penny and I'd definitely go back for more. Plenty of families on the beach - my 17yo and I enjoyed a walk along the harbour wall and mooch around the front - there was something there for everyone. Provided you're relatively fit, there's parking at the top of the town - £4 for the day is a complete bargain!

Oyster Cottage enjoys a central location in New Quay, a minute or so away from the main shops, restaurants and the beautiful sandy beach. The inside of the cottage is much larger than the website photos show which was a nice surprise! The property was very comfortable and clean and the rooms have loads of nice touches including portholes in one of the bedrooms! If you are planning a trip to New Quay we can highly recommend a stay at Oyster Cottage.

Good value for money, it's a fantastic location in easy reach of New Quay beach and town, and has parking which is so handy, right by the property. It's also on a really pretty site that's clean, quiet and well kept. Our host was really lovely and welcoming, and dropped me a line to say hi once we booked and with checking we had everything we needed.

Beautiful Georgian house with lots of lovely period features. Felt like staying in someone’s home rather than a rental. Exceptionally clean. Excellent location for exploring New Quay. Hosts were very helpful with the few questions I had before our stay.

Whilst travelling through Wales we stayed at several B&Bs. This was the certainly the best. Cooked breakfast was fantastic. Hilary and John were superb hosts. If visiting New Quay again we would certainly look them up.
