There was problem with our room due to the previous guests behavior. We were put up in another hotel for the night and then upgraded a to suite, which was fabulous. The hotel staff were great in dealing with the situation which was beyond their control.

There was a great selection for breakfast and we ordered room service for dinner. The food was delicious and came really quickly. The room was absolutely huge, much bigger than a standard room in any other hotel I've stayed in. Great location right in the river with all the shops and restaurants within walking distance.

A unique hotel right next to the water, quiet, stylish, with a fascinating history. Amazing breakfast, we weren't posh enough for dinner but we had a cheese platter by the bar. Would love to come back, magical place really.

    If you're looking for somewhere quiet and peaceful and yet is near enough to a city if you need one then Munlochy is the place. The village does have a co-op which is a short walk from the cottage we stayed at.
