I had a wonderful experience staying in a camp tent at this beautiful site! The views were absolutely amazing, providing a stunning backdrop that made our stay truly memorable. The location was incredibly peaceful, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy the serene ambiance. Our host was one of the highlights of our trip—so friendly and genuinely helpful! They went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed and shared great tips about the area. It really felt like staying with a friend rather than just a host. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this camp tent to anyone looking for a tranquil escape.

The effort that went into making it extremely homely and comfortable. The attention to detail even down to the dog bowl, blanket and a lovely hamper and cheeseboard. The property had everything you would need for your stay and even if you’ve forgotten something I’m sure they have it covered! The local pub was minutes walk away and provides a lovely selection of food and drinks. Will definitely be staying here again.

    Moreton in Marsh was a convenient location for a side trip from our visit to London. Very easy train access and a very walkable and charming little town. We used this location as a base of operations to tour some other Cotswolds towns and couldn't have been happier.

    Excellent base for exploring the Cotswolds.

    Excellent base for exploring the Cotswolds. Easily reached by train. Accomodations mostly in historical buildings along the (busy) main road. Large supermarkets and a lot of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Especially loved cocktails in the garden of the Manor House, breakfast and excellent coffee at Lynnwood and generous portions of italian at Bellinis.

    Moreton on marsh is a beautiful town.

    Moreton on marsh is a beautiful town. There’s a market there on Tuesdays. Great places to eat gorgeous fish and chip bar. The black bear Inn fantastic food. Bellini Italian restaurant fantastic. Stay away from the Thai restaurant (SIAM COTTAGE THAI) cold food which we waited 1 hr and 15 minutes for. Service below poor. Plus if you order soft drinks (J2O) they share the bottle between 2 glasses and charge for 2. We used go guide to see around the Cotswolds Elaine the guide was fabulous we visited many places Bourton on the water, Snowshill where Bridget Jones (first one) was filmed, chipping Campden, Cirencester - Bibury etc

    Lovely market town with plenty of pubs, restaurants and interesting little shops. Vey attractive. Not too commercialised. Saturday market. Nearby Batsford Arboretum and Snowhill Lavendar Farm are beautiful.

    It is a lovely little town in the Northern Region of the Cotswolds and has a direct train connection to London Paddington Station (1hr 42Min). We were told that every Tuesday there is a mayor Market all along High Street on Morton-in-Marsh with Antiques and lots of other interesting things.

    Nice place ruined by appalling bus service, appreciate it...

    Nice place ruined by appalling bus service, appreciate it was bank holiday but it is a tourist place and a bus every two hours is not good enough. Waited 30 minutes for bus and when eventually arrived drove straight past as it was full. Ended up spending £30 on a taxi for an eight mile journey.

    Fabulous hotel, great location for visiting other cotswolds villages and Batsford Arboretum. Very comfortable, we stayed in a cosy double. I read reviews that it was small, but it is perfectly adequate for a short stay, and the shower room is large. Breakfast was amazing with fresh local produce and friendly staff. The receptionist was extremely helpful and friendly

    Location is ideal. it is near the train station and located along High Street but the room is quiet. Tim received me at the hotel before the official checkin time and allowed me to checkin. He also responded to all my queries very fast, before and during my stay. The accommodation has strong wifi and tv has Netflix too.
