Great location, right next to the Nags Head, where we had a lovely dinner. Breakfast was a bargain. Freshly cooked bacon sandwich, coffee, also yoghurts and croissants included in the price. Staff are very friendly and professional.

Looking for properties in the area. Location was ideal. The staff were excellent, an alternative room was made available when original had not been serviced to their satisfaction. Breakfast was good, food hot and tasty. Overall a very good stay.

We booked a family room and were given two adjoining rooms, which our teenage son appreciated! Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast was marvellous and the staff were all very helpful

    Exceeded all expectations.

    Exceeded all expectations. Initially had to contact for advice and the owner was so kind and helpful. All issues immediately dealt with. The cottage is beautiful, clean, comfy. Hot tub was amazing. Great places to walk too. The village is beautiful too. Highly recommend this to all my friends.

    Lovely, quiet, kind and humble people, the are is quiet but not at all humble, it is beautiful! Had coffee in the garden, enjoyed the sun, and relaxed, had a walk through the fruit garden where I found strawberries and gooseberries, just amazing!

    Midfield monastery is a lovely building, only thing that let it down was the unpleasant smell around the dining room area, it was quite strong at times,they must have plumbing problems, we couldn’t enjoy our breakfast.For this reason we wouldn’t want to stay there again.
