    A really nice little unspoilt village - a good restaurant and room, would make a solid place to base yourself if you are visiting the Ely / Cambridge area and want a quiet place to go back to at the end of the day.

    The hotel was absolutely gorgeous - pulling up to the hotel it didn’t look like much but once inside it was just lovely and the atmosphere in general compared to other hotels is just so welcoming and calm. The dinner here is great also! Friendly staff, especially Emily - she welcomed us at the start and catered for my needs(I have autism and they had a small birthday going on) so managed to sit us somewhere comfortable and quite for dinner. The room was stunning and the gardens were too.

    We booked a couple of nights as a base for visiting Ely, which is a short drive away. The hotel is ideally located on the river and we had a lovely room with a balcony. Comfy bed, nice bathroom with a great shower, and a decent-sized fridge which was perfect to store food for our balcony picnic on the first night when the restaurant was closed. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, providing fresh milk, wine glasses and even a pen when we asked!

    The breakfast was delicious and plenty of choice. The evening meal was also delicious, with quick, attentive service. Actually couldn't fault the hotel. Rooms lovely, beds comfy. Would fully recommend

    This little hotel is a gem. Excellent public areas with beautifully appointed rooms. The food is delicious and the service very efficient. Convenient location for exploring Ely and Cambridge.
