The place was extremely cosy, child friendly and very quiet all around. The cottage is beside a farm so you are surrounded by cows. Perfect environment if you want a feel of being in a remote location. The host was very nice and welcoming.

Location Friendly and accommodating staff, nothing was too much bother. Clean hotel, even smelt fresh as you walked the corridors. Great upgrade. Food was excellent in the evening and such a beautiful variety of breakfast options. Breakfast was delicious. Heating in room and a heated towel rail.

The Fry was excellent! Generous portion. The eating area was lovely. The gentleman who worked there was friendly. Everything was great! The pub had atmosphere. We enjoyed our pints. Blue Door is a spacious, clean and bright apartment fitted out with everything we needed and more. Despite the fact that it was the middle of summer we arrived in Newcastle in heavy rain and a freezing cold wind and we had a couple of tiny hiccups getting in and getting warm. But we messaged Dana and her brother Charlie had everything sorted within minutes. Dana and Charlie couldn't have done anything more to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We couldn't have asked for anything better and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Blue Door..
