Llandeilo is a quaint market Welsh town , steeped in history. it has a good sized Park to walk about, Castle near by, within walking distance. A few interesting shops. A Texaco Petrol station nearby. but no E5 fuel. nearest is in Gorslas, about 15mins drive, 7miles away. We did visit a pub called the White Hart for a big sit down dinner & booked in advance. But found the Pub to be poorly managed & food was pretty poor too. There is another pub/restaurant called The Plough about a mile away. excellent food & Drink choices. Good sized car park & very open. Friendly staff and very attentive. Llandeilo is worth getting out & walking around, has narrow streets & you will miss something quaint & important. Most Beautiful Town - so quaint with lots of little characterful independent shops, boutiques and lovely places to eat ; Cawdor (Best Sunday Dinner) Duff Nuts (Beautiful Cooked Breakfast and wow their doughnuts out of this world) Pitchfork & Provision(Amazing artisan bakery and cafe - wow wow ). Llandeilo is so easy to navigate and the parking so cheap - just over five pounds for the weekend and everyone very welcoming and friendly. Lots of lovely places nearby to visit - Dynfwr Castle/ Park /Newton House. Carreg Cennen Castle. Aberglasney Gardens just to name a few as well as further afield Llansteffan, Laugharne , Saundersfoot & Tenby.Guest review byGill - 8.0

We stayed 2 nights to visit family that are local, its a lovely little town, it just happened that our stay coincided with the Festival of Senses, which was lovely and it was nice to see so many people out and enjoying themselves. This is a good location for tourists and business travellers. Lovely scenery and close to Carmarthen and the western edges of the Beacons. Local castles and the coast are not too far away. Good access to the motorway and the Gower peninsula. Llandeilo has a good selection of independent shops. Definitely worth considering if you are touring Wales.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

Llandeilo is a lovely market town, set on a hill with the majestic River Towy below, meandering West to Carmarthen. There are many places to eat from a quick snack to à la carte meals. It is reasonably easy to walk around the town, where you'll find many interesting shops. You might be surprised what you find at Peppercorn, Barr & Co, Rig Out Boutique, Toast, Mari Thomas Jewellery, The little Welsh Dresser, to name a few. Facilities within the property were clean and the decor was of high standard. A lovely place to stay on route to other places or as a quiet get away from a busy life style. The White Hart Inn, ideal spot for something to eat or have a drink. It was within walking distance, though make sure you bring a torch, as there is no street lights or path along the road. Recently renovated to very high standard, clean, comfortable and fully equipped. It's near a great pub The White Hart which does fab food. Easy to park.
