Breakfast is wonderful, it is served in warm, straight from kitchen, all food are fresh, there is Day Room and kitchen with complete cooking utensils, microwave, fridge, dish washing machine, ironing board, very clean & comfortable. Bed is big & comfy. Bathroom is clean with hot & cold water. The owners are friendly & helpful. Definitely will go back there when I visit Edinburgh again.

Host was very eager to please, my room was more than I needed and super clean. Off street parking for my bike was very welcomed. Great restaurant not far from the premises “Artisan” oh and the breakfasts at the Guest House were lovely

We had such a wonderful and relaxing stay in this little, charming barn. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic stay while still respecting our privacy. The barn itself was clean, cosy, and had everything we could possibly need and more.The hot tub was a real treat after a day of exploring. The location is idyllic; peaceful and quiet with lovely walking trails right on the doorstep and the stunning Black Loch practically in the backyard – perfect for a paddle boarding session. Its proximity to Edinburgh was also a great bonus for a day trip into the city. Meeting all the dogs and parrots was definitely a highlight of our visit- they are such a characters! We wholeheartedly recommend this fantastic place for a getaway!

    We didn’t spend any time in the village so can’t really say but it was nice and quiet . My friends had a lovely meal in the beefeater and we had Chinese takeaway the first night. Pity for they wouldn’t deliver
