We slept very well because of the cosy bed, which was larger than we thought. The peaceful and quiet surrounding was amazing. Contact to owner was great. Coffee and tea have been provided and some cookies. Grilling would have been possible, if wanted. We definitely plan to come again.

It was where we had our wedding reception 57 years ago. The changes have been amazing. All the staff were so pleasant and welcoming. It’s been one of the highlights of our visit to UK. We shall cherish our stay for the rest of our lives

Such a wholesome experience at The Vale Hotel! Couldn’t recommend this lovely accomodation more. Ian was a lovely owner and helped us with everything we needed. The bed was ridiculously comfortable (we tried to see the brand so we could purchase one ourselves haha).

Absolutely loved everything!! The beautiful room called Loveage we stayed in was divine. The restaurants, the spa, the chill out lounge spaces through to the garden walks. All staff were exceptional, soo helpful always. We adored our stay here for 3 nights and are obsessed with Thyme!!

    Kempsford is a quiet village. There is a church and a pub.

    Kempsford is a quiet village. There is a church and a pub. The pub is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. New houses are being built on the edge of the village. A lot of cars left the village in the mornings, so a lot of people live, but don't work there. Swindon and Cirencester are easy to reach. The countryside around Kempsford is beautiful.
