There isn't a huge amount to do in Holyhead itself.
There isn't a huge amount to do in Holyhead itself. A few nice walks around the coast. I don't have a car so next time I would stay closer inland in Anglesey to take advantage of more activities and places to see. I ended up taking a train to Bangor for a day. The surrounding area is stunning.
The surrounding area is stunning. Thousands of puffins at South Stack. But Holyhead itself has nothing to see. Amazing beaches and wild flowers and sand dunes a little further down the west coast road.Guest review byevelynUnited Kingdom

I had problems with my train connection to Holyhead and arrived in the middle of the night. The breakfast was yummy, the room was cosy, everything was very enjoyable. For midday menu here exists a korean menu. The hotel is approximately 10-15 minutes (by foot) away from the trainstation, it´s uphill to go the hotel (but downhill to go back to the trainstation :)), so if you go by foot and have havy bags you should think about that.
