It was a lovely, very comfortable and very clean house! Everything we needed was there. A lot of eye for details to make it a comfortable stay! Perfect location close to the train and ferry station. Easy communication with the host, Sarah. Would very much recommend!

Absolutely perfect little pod in a gorgeous location. The pod was very comfortable and the space was organised well and with great attention to detail. Excellent shower, good little kitchen and of course amazing views and a firepit. We had a chat with the host too who was very kind and helpful.

    Visited Short Stack. Great walk. Great food from a local fish and chips shop. The town was very walkable for basic needs. Heard there are at least two nice beaches. The people were very friendly. Several times I was asked if I needed help as I was walking.

    Most enjoyable part of the stay was leaving the next morning.The house was very noisy and one shared dirty bathroom shared between 6 or 7 people.Thete was mice in every room and landlord was what I can only describe as a very smelly scruffy miserable and unhelpful

    As I was getting the ferry next day, an it was a lovely evening I was able to enjoy a lovely walk, however had the weather been cold/wet Holyhead does not appear to have much to offer to encourage longer stay

    There isn't a huge amount to do in Holyhead itself.

    There isn't a huge amount to do in Holyhead itself. A few nice walks around the coast. I don't have a car so next time I would stay closer inland in Anglesey to take advantage of more activities and places to see. I ended up taking a train to Bangor for a day. Rubens in the town centre is a very nice place for a coffee.

    Great place with so much to do, give it a go.. beautiful beaches, Newborough was amazing, we walked holyhead mountain, a fabulous circular walk, we also visited Parys mountain... well worth a trip.. we ate at oceans edge restaurant, amazing food and drink, great service too.

    The surrounding area is stunning.

    The surrounding area is stunning. Thousands of puffins at South Stack. But Holyhead itself has nothing to see. Amazing beaches and wild flowers and sand dunes a little further down the west coast road.

    Thuyen, the owner, was very very nice and helpful. I had problems with my train connection to Holyhead and arrived in the middle of the night. The breakfast was yummy, the room was cosy, everything was very enjoyable. For midday menu here exists a korean menu. The hotel is approximately 10-15 minutes (by foot) away from the trainstation, it´s uphill to go the hotel (but downhill to go back to the trainstation :)), so if you go by foot and have havy bags you should think about that. Have a nice stay at Orient B+B!

    Lovely location by beach and very handy for catching a morning ferry. The staff were lovely. They were friendly and anxious to help. We witnessed a very confrontational guest who was treated with great calmness and civility- much more than he deserved! The menu was surprisingly varied and the food was lovely. The hotel has recently been taken over by new management who are working hard to turn it into a more up-market concern. It has lots of potential

    I didn't know when I'd arrive in Holyhead so couldn't easily make advanced reservation. On the day of arrival, there were only two properties available anywhere in the city and this was the cheaper one. It was a big, comfy bed for big, comfy people. :) It offered the overnight stay we needed between train and ferry.
