Excellent range of independent shops and eateries. Well placed for visits to all local attractions both inland and on the coast. A go-to shop is definitely Bakers and Larners who sell anything from a range cooker to a packet of seeds. We sampled delicious eggs benedict and coffee in the cafe. Holt is a well-situated base for exploring the coast, with easy access to Cromer, Sheringham, Wells, and Blakeney—perfect for those looking to make the most of their stay. This charming town has everything you need for a comfortable visit if you prefer to stay local. For evening dining, the best options can be found in nearby pubs, as choices within the town itself are somewhat limited. Lorraine was the most welcoming host who gave us various ideas for food and drinks in the surrounding area. The room had the best view ever of beautiful countryside, very quiet, immaculately clean and everything you would want for your comfort. It was also close enough to lots of North Norfolk attractions. It has a grand yet cosy feel and the garden is huge yet secluded. Sitting out you wouldn’t know you’re so close to town. The hot tub is an added bonus. Our girls loved the trampoline and large garden plus the added bonus of toys and games.
