Halstead is a pretty market town with some unusual shops as well as various supermarkets. It is well within reach of some lovely villages close by. There are plenty of places to eat or have a coffee. We walked around Halstead as we were able to leave our car in the hotel carpark all day. We are NOT a young couple (late 70s) but there were plenty of places to go for a drink. There's plenty of places to eat,, boutiques,, walks& they have a 🐈 cafe!! The bathroom is adjacent to the room via a short hallway, so take nightwear. Not a contradiction by any means, just a heads up. The property is on a quiet estate.
