Mint pub with ample beer selection, brilliant food ( Chicken pie was 10/10) the service from the lad behind bar who showed me to room and around was superb a real credit to the place and a proper warm welcome! Breakfast again was epic and the lady who has worked there for 20 plus years was brilliant and very attentive! Loved every minute!

We were given clear instructions on how to self check in. Beautifully decorated House and loved the attention to detail in the room. Location is perfect and walkable to Grassington town centre and also Linton Falls. Highlight of the stay was the delicious breakfast Dave cooked for us. Can't recommend highly enough.

Charming and very cosy and comfortable loft, upper part of the quaint little cottage, furnished to a very high standard, with everything you could possibly need. Just as the pictures show, right in the heart of the gorgeous village of Grassington. I had a great stay there and felt right at home, Thank you so much! (I did not meet the host, e-mail communication was fine. The keys were in a little box with a code). Several bus stops close.

    Grassington is a lovely village in a great location within the dales. Lots of nice walks from there, especially along the river. It has plenty of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants to choose from. A fabulous place for breakfast, the old school room (8 mins in car).

    Regrettably I did not have enough time to fully enjoy...

    Regrettably I did not have enough time to fully enjoy Grassington and the surrounding area this time as I did on my first visit. However when I visit again I will give myself more time to enjoy what I consider to be a dule and my place to go.

    Grassington is a beautiful setting in the Yorkshire dales.

    Grassington is a beautiful setting in the Yorkshire dales. The village square is idyllic, with various places to eat and drink. Just around the corner is the visitors centre, which leads to the River Wharfe, and Linton Falls. The river has walking routes in both directions, one which goes to Burnsall, a very scenic village. Grassington is good spring board, to explore the Yorkshire dales.

    Great place to stay. Lovely location.

    Great place to stay. Lovely location. Down side was no WiFi and tv didn't work. For the price we paid ,I would expect these things to work. We did get a swift response when an email was sent about the problem , but being Saturday night we decided to decline the offer of an engineer as we were tired and didn't want to inconvenience somebody. Surely these things should be checked before arrival . We did have to wait till 4pm for check in !

    This was my second visit to Grassington in 2 years.

    This was my second visit to Grassington in 2 years. This time, staying in town for a few days, I had the opportunity to really talk to and interact with local residents. I was absolutely stuck by the welcoming spirit of this village. I felt immediately at home and was touched by the kindness of many people. The town is simply beautiful. There are many food options, shops featuring the work of local artisans, not to mention the natural surroundings.

    A quaint, and thriving, village with friendly people and an interesting variety of restaurants, gift shops, and many beautiful walks around the village, and beside the river Wharfe. Further afield there are many beautiful walks on the nearby hills, Parking is very limited, so large cars/SUV's may be a problem.

    Self check-in with provided code. Comfortable bed, medium size bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Mini fridge. overall clean and comfortable. No breakfast, but if you're planning to explore the area, like Linton Falls, and the Yorkshire Dales National Park, is only minutes away by foot or car. There are lots of charming gift shops and cafes to have a proper brunch, breakfast or whatever you feel like. Malham Cove is about 30 minutes away by car. I recommend the English Polisher and DeWinkel shop.

    Cosy little hotel tucked down a small alley off the high street. Totally in keeping with the area it is kept to a very high standard with knowledgeable friendly staff. Perfectly placed to access the center of Grassington with great eating choices. The residents lounge was a very nice touch. I am sure we will be back.
