Fairlight Cove is a lovely wood cladded pub & restaurant...

Fairlight Cove is a lovely wood cladded pub & restaurant with new modern lodgings behind, My room was beautifully decorated & well equipped. Loved the coffee machine for a delicious cup of good quality coffee. The bed was comfortable & ensuite lovely with a large modern shower. A fridge is also supplied in the bedroom with a desk & chair. Plenty of tea & coffee supplied for a morning cuppa but unfortunately no milk. ( Think it was an oversite & not the norm) Disappointed though as I couldn't find the Volcano.🤣

I've been going to Hastings for 50 years and I love...

I've been going to Hastings for 50 years and I love Fairlight. Lovely panoramic views over the Channel. Wonderful walks over the cliffs, stop at the Bale House near the Coastguard Station for a cuppa or at the Coastguard Café in Coastguard Lane. Interesting exhibition at the Bale House. Walk down the glen or take one of the top paths to go to Hastings. Bus back to Fairlight. Visit Hastings, Eastbourne, Lewes, Monk House, Charleston, Farley's, Hole Park. Eastward, Pett is a lovely village, so is Winchelsea, walk on Winchelsea Beach seawall, visit Rye, Dungeness. London is 1h30 away by train.

Fairlight Cove was the best. I loved evetything about it.

Fairlight Cove was the best. I loved evetything about it. The room was inviting and equipped with everything possible. The bed was to die for with supetb linen and pillows. The TV had cable channels. The staff were so obliging and easy going which made you feel relaxed and totally welcome. The location is beautiful rolling hills to the sea with farm animals and amazing views

Tea, coffee (Nespresso), and real milk and complimentary...

Tea, coffee (Nespresso), and real milk and complimentary water in the fridge were very nice touches. Room was immaculate and tastefully furnished. The bedding was lovely. In the evening we ate in the pub which has a lovely atmosphere and food and service were great. Lovely owner on hand to help.
