Nice comfortable apartment in a converted outbuilding in lovely area. We booked this on price and location as we were over for a wedding 2 miles up the road. The wedding venue would have been a reasonable option for a double room but we are a family of 4 and for a bigger room they wanted close to triple the price we paid for cosy cloud and still would have been a much smaller room than we enjoyed at this property. We have never stayed on the grounds of a main property before always opting for hotels and my wife was slightly nervous - she needn't have been. This experience was great, would highly recommend. Key pick up and instructions were very clear with great communication throughout. We were left contact details for the owner incase we needed anything but other than that we didn't even bump into them and were left to our own devices which for us is a big positive. Thanks for having us.

    Steeped in history and absolutely lovely friendly locals👍. Came to the area for a friend’s wedding which was at the town hall, and as self catering didn’t really eat out much as only stayed a few days. Would love to come back and use as a base for more exploring of the area.

    We returned to Congleton after a long time away and it was nice to go back. We were visiting old friends in the area and it was great to catch up. All the new roads and houses in the area was a surprise but a good trip nonetheless.

    It was just a lovely stay , you need a car to travel about and explore beautiful towns near to congleton . I enjoyed holmes chapel which wasn’t far. The food in the Swettenham arms was very nice . Also the. Red lion too if you want basic meals. I’m sure there are lovely walks but didn’t get that far as it was much too cold went I went . You need to be a countryside fan to enjoy the loft and surrounding areas

    We stayed overnight for a wedding.

    We stayed overnight for a wedding. I personally found the bed too hard and the room was old fashioned and shabby. The breakfast was very good but I object to having to order it the night before as on the day I wasn't very hungry so had to cancel that order.

    A very nice place to be, with good facilities close to the Hotel where we were staying. The breakfast in the hotel was good with a large selection of various items. We may well return to this hotel as both the setting and the staff were excellent.

    Everything nothing was too much trouble. My husband was stuck on motorway after a lorry had an accident on the morning of being picked up. They allowed us to stay in our room till he got to us. Also was upgraded as my mum is 72 and we was originally on 2nd floor they brought us down to 1st floor. They went above and beyond would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely book again. It is a very quiet and pieceful place to visit there is a lovely garden centre over the road well worth a visit and has a lovely cafe inside too.

    Hotel looks v pretty and the staff in the hotel & restaurant are exceptional. The waiter remembered my name and took good care of me on Friday night dinner and Saturday breakfast. It's walking distance to shops and Congleton park for walks which I made use of both. It's a £10 taxi ride to Sandhole wedding venue which was perfect. The bedroom comes with a mini fridge which I absolutely loved. There is also a coffee maker with instructions in the bedroom too which was fun to use.

    warm, spacious and cozy lodge with all the fixtures and fittings of home. fantastic hot tub available for a bit extra. The price is fantastic value for money as the lodge houses up to 6 people but costs no more than a decent hotel room. The location is in a very rural spot with beautiful views of green fields and mountains, but the town of Congleton is only a short 5-10 minutes drive away with shops, restaurants and pubs galore.
