The location was wonderful, with two lovely pubs and places to eat only a 15 minute walk away. The cabin was very well equipped and cosy for 2 people and a dog. The setting was beautiful overlooking the area, with lots of space outside to relax. The village was so friendly and welcoming, and we can't wait to return.

I had a lovely stay at the hotel and will definitely choose it again in the future. It has been beautifully renovated in the new annex part (see photos)/breakfast area and the main pub. The rooms are in the old building but still well-presented, clean and comfortable. Lovely breakfast!

It ticks all the boxes. A very clean, tastefully decorated. House is set in countryside with lovely views. Bed is very comfortable, really nice breakfast. I was so glad that it was fresh orange juice and strong ground coffee. Nice location for walks. I walked into Newtown which was about 35 minutes. Can't wait to stay again

What a beautiful, stunning and secluded location, looking out to a sea of stars in a cosy hot tub. Equipped with everything you could possibly need, including a fab fire pit with logs provided and even an outdoor kitchen The bed was like sleeping on a cloud! I could not recommend this place enough, will definitely be visiting again. Thank you for an amazing time

Everything! The cabin was so cosy and with it being in a rural area, the views were absolutely stunning.  We didn’t need to pack half the things we brought because the log cabin had everything we needed. The bed was so comfy and the log burner was lovely

    We were passing through very quickly due to my husband...

    We were passing through very quickly due to my husband embarking on a charity bike ride from north to south Wales. Sarn y Glyn property and the surrounding area was stunning. Not too far to drive into Llanidloes. Had a coffee in the Traveller's Rest cafe which was very pleasant!

    Great location especially if you are training at completely...

    Great location especially if you are training at completely gundogs. clean, gated driveway which meant lovely and secure for my dog. Lovely welcome park . Friendly helpful hosts. Tidiest cleanest farm I have ever seen , beautiful drive way framed with daffodils .

    We were in the area for a local wedding and this was the perfect stop over for us! We are glad we found it and would highly recommend! We didn’t get the chance the visit the village but wish we had and will return!

    Mid Wales Arts B & B is a charming place. The welcome was warm, our room comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was excellent and copious. Wonderful plate of mixed fresh fruit to start with. Cathy and John are delightful and were extremely helpful when we had a medical problem. The Gallery is full of lovely works of art, books and glass. What’s not to like? It is more relaxed than the formal style of a hotel but you probably wouldn’t want to stay there if that is your style.

    An exceptional place to stay. We would have to say that it was the cleanest, quitest, and most comfortable place that we have stayed in. Breakfast was great. Kath and her husband are very nice people, and they are very good at running their hotel. We would highly recommend this hotel.

    I would have preferred a cooked breakfast. As the address was Caersws, I thought the roads to where I needed to travel each day would have been easier. I am sure for people who wanted to go walking the scenery and the area was beautiful . and the hosts were very pleasant.

    Proprietors were friendly and helpful. The rooms were lovely and the bed was excellent. I don’t normally sleep well in hotels. But, this was an exception!! It was very comfortable. Breakfast great and HOT. Maybe a bit more choice ( eggs royal, Benedict etc)

    Staff were so welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Breakfast was delicious. The hotel was beautiful, as were the grounds. Room was very comfortable, nice new bathroom. It exceeded my expectations completely.
