The amenities in the room were excellent and modern. Temperature controlled heating, oven, toaster, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, fridge, cooking hob, and the plugs also had USB sockets, and all the utensils you’d ever need. Apartment was super clean, which says a lot about the hotel’s attention to detail.

Gill and Ken are lovely hosts, always up for some advice or a chat, the room was comfy and clean, but the best thing was definitely the breakfast, homemade bread, muffins and everything else what one could wish for!

    The location in the middle of the Scottish Cairngorm...

    The location in the middle of the Scottish Cairngorm mountains is superb. Aviemore is a great place to stay if you like hiking, skiing or just a good country walk. There are plenty of good restaurants and bars that cater for all tastes.

    Great little town, lots to do, mostly outdoor activities. Funicular railway is fantastic fun and incredible views. Recommend Chargrill as a place to eat, but do book wherever you want to eat as always booked days in advance.

    Good value, good breakfast choice and generous servings. Public rooms a little shabby, but bed and pillows very comfortable. Shower was good. Quiet after 10.30 which is good for a family hotel. Good facilities on site for children. More of a family resort than a couples resort, but different hotel options on the site would suit others. We went with grandchildren so fine for us. Lovely surrounding scenery, close to Aviemore train station and attractions in Aviemore. Restaurants good but not cheap, all had children's options which were good value.

    Originally was small village but is now a busy town. Attractive mainly due to Cairngorm views, Has been well developed but in good taste. Well worth a visit but allow at least a few days as there is a lot to see in the surrounding area too.

    Something for everyone in Aviemore no matter your age. Good gift and coffee shops and lovely restaurants. Handy centre for lovers of the outdoors with shorter walks and strolls to the higher hills. Great ambience about the place.

    A very pleasant and informative welcome, room was small but cozy, and very warm, at times a bit too warm, but there was snow up on the hills, having a drying room was a godsend due to the torrential rain when we arrived, and with the room being so small not having room taken up with wet coats helped. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of dishes and was nice an hot which made a change from other hotels. Location was perfect as was within easy walking of all facilities and Aviemore was a great place to stay anyway.

    Conveniently located just outside Aviemore the hotel is well presented with a welcoming reception, lounge and dining areas. The room was very clean, tidy and equipped with an ensuite shower and comfortable double bed. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. Both dinner and breakfast menus were very good and excellently prepared and served. Our early departure requirement was excellently supported with a timely breakfast options enabling us to leave well fed and contented. Thank you

    The hotel and staff were great, it’s in an excellent location - just a short walk from the main street in aviemore for access to shops, restaurants and bars. The room was spotless and spacious. My family have been going to aviemore for short breaks for years and have been looking for somewhere different to stay following the Coylumbridge being taken over and we would definitely recommend this hotel as a new family-friendly regular stay!
