Great location for exploring Loch Lomond national park or munro bagging. Lovely views from most rooms. Easy to find hotel (though parking took us a little bit to figure out...). Hotel was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and breakfast staff was generally friendly and nice to talk with. I really liked that we could choose our breakfast in advance and therefore could help limit wastage.

The view from the room was peaceful and amazing, giving straight on the Loch Lomond. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, the arrangement for a Prosecco bottle on arrival was waiting for us as asked. The bed was super comfy as well. The staff was really friendly, they even helped us with some complementary rolls & coffee to take away, as we were leaving really early to hit the road, and couldn't be there during breakfast hours. I will absolutely recommend.

The room was spacious, with lovely decor. It had an amazing view out of the patio doors onto Lochlomond. It was spotless, and even though we only stayed 2 nights, it was cleaned and beds changed inbetween. It was good having a coffee maker and robes. It's ideally situated to visit different places nearby, to eat out.

I took a fishing rod and on the first night had bbq mackerel...

I took a fishing rod and on the first night had bbq mackerel on the banks of Loch lomand as its very close. The hills are walking distance from the hotel so on the second day we walked up Ben ime. The views are spectacular if you have not been to the west of Scotland you willl be impressed and the location is so close to Glasgow, difficult to believe a large city is so close.

Amazing part of the country with wonderful scenery.

Amazing part of the country with wonderful scenery. Most staff are extremely pleasant and friendly, but not all. Arrochar is a bit of a one horse town, although it's a great base for touring some amazing parts of the country. It's a very relaxing village with a lovely walk along the lochside.

Beautiful quiet location, stunning scenery. The Village Inn was great. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. Restaurant had good menu choices both for dinner and breakfast. We'd booked this for our last night in Scotland before our return flight, would have loved to stay longer.

Weather not great second day but didn’t spoil our break . Took a very scenic drive up the “Rest and Be Thankful “ via Loch Fyne oyster bar and garden centre to Inveraray . Dogs loved the walk through the grounds up to the castle . Lovely places for lunch in the town .The George Hotel a favourite of ours .

Everything was top notch. Staff were very good, nice and helpful. The bedroom was beautiful and the bed very comfy. Food was delicious and reasonably priced for the quality. The surrounding area was beautiful and our room had a loch view. The whole Inn had a lovely welcoming and friendly atmosphere.

The hotel staff were rude and unhelpful and to beat it all the cleaning staff stole my bag with all of my liquids including perfumes and lotions and when I told the reception they could not have cared less

Lovely and comfortable room and spacious bathroom. We were right at the front of the property on the main road which was busy but with the windows closed the traffic wasn’t an issue. Fabulous views of Loch Long and Arrochar Alps including The Cobbler. The owners Paul & Melissa were so welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and a good choice of options to suit everyone. Great location and easy walking distance to local amenities. Would definitely recommend

The village inn was such a cosy stay for us. The view from the pub is so beautiful. Our room was a great size , with a comfy bed and a gorgeous big bath! Absolutely perfect for what we needed as a base around Loch Lomond. The staff were fantastic from start to finish, the food was great with so many options on the menu. They even made sure we were fed for breakfast on the day we had to be up really early. Couldn’t fault a thing

Breakfast was fairly good with a choice of foods, the croissants were never fresh though. The evening meal was OK but very institutional catering for coach trips. There was a choice of menu but basic. No coffee offered after meals. Hotel was in lovely setting and clean, however the hotel is tired and in need of a lot of modernisation. The windows were sealed shut so no ventilation in hot bedrooms or stairwells.
