They’d left us a range of biscuits, and plenty tea/coffee etc The bed was like a hotel with a lovely arranged blanket and chocolates. Everything was so clean and the owners went above and beyond to meet our needs - they even provided a cosy dog bed which our dogs loved!! Gorgeous views of the horses. Fire pit outside. Hen parties spoiled our relaxing stay but that can’t reflect on the hotel. Room wasn’t cleaned to as high a standard as I would of expected for the price, the balcony had the previous guests beer cans still sitting, restaurant was ok we had steak which was a little pricey for what it was. We went to Edinburgh for one of the days as it was so easy to get to from Alloa on the train. The loft was the most gorgeous accommodation we’ve stayed in, Hayley was so helpful and we had everything we could possible need. The public areas were nice, the evening meal very nice and the breakfast just ok. One young female employee seemed to be everywhere, reception, bar, serving evening meal and on again in the morning.
