I think some would call this place "cheap and cheerful" and while it is both, I think they go well beyond that. It's got everything you need (boot room, ski lockers, pub, restaurant, breakfast, dinner, great staff) and the location is second to none. The food was lovely, and the price was unbeatable. Its not the fanciest place, there's lots of room for improvement cosmetically, but it's clean and safe and very well appointed. I personally don't think it's worth paying more for something prettier. Amazing value for money. Highly recommended.

We stayed for our wedding anniversary and we had a really really great time! The hotel is very clean and the room was perfect to celebrate our anniversary :-) We enjoyed at Aquamotion very much ( I recommend everyone to select the room which you have access to go to Aquamotion ) The hotel’s restaurant we went was delicious and all the people at the hotel were so nice to dog. We just love this hotel. Thank you!

    What a great vacation we had!

    What a great vacation we had! Just be ready to travel between the 3 valleys, 15-20 km take about an hour drive. But the views are just amazing 🤩 and worth it!! Paragliding was our #1 activity but we loved the Via Ferrata, Canyoning, summer ski in Tignes, mountain Kart, toboggan and hiking 🥾 The food and people were just amazing 🤩 We will definitely come back for a winter vacation and summer too!

    Excellent ski area.

    Excellent ski area. Taking a pass of only Meribel is enough to keep you busy for a week. No need to go for 3 vallees ski pass (EUR 50 extra per head per week). Food and accommodation are good but expensive, especially food. The local free shuttle buses are extremely useful.

    Meribel was great for the skiing but also for those non-skiers in a group with walking, swimming and a spa. It was possible for non-skiers to get to the higher peaks for the views using the lifts. Eating out was, as expected , a bit pricey as was drinking in the bars. There is a free bus shuttle covering the whole area which can be used by skiers and non-skiers to start walks or meet up with other members of group who maybe skiing. It catered for all abilities of skiers within our group - advanced to beginners.

    Perfect location to ski all three resorts without spending...

    Perfect location to ski all three resorts without spending too much time getting back to your area. Meribel us a beautiful charming town with great restaurants and stores. For longer stays with your own car suggest you book parking at the Rhodos public parking which is only 87eu per week.

    Its very expensive compared to other areas I have stayed, I wouldn't have stayed here if it wasn't for the cycling. You can get way better value else where. Its got everything you need, although was disappointed the gondola from the valley up, was running in the summer. would have expected this being a MTB resort in the summer.

    Meribel was a lovely town but we stayed just to visit my son who works there and we aren't skiers so that was long enough as nothing much to do for non skiers scenery was breathtaking food and restaurant selection excellent

    The residence is located right in the centre of Meribel, across from the slopes and near all the shops and restaurants. There was a very nice view on the mountains from our balcony. The staff was super friendly and always willing to help. The apartment was spacious and nice. Despite not new, everything was in very good condition. The kitchen was equipped with absolutely everything, which could be needed. Skiroom was very good, warm and with convenient lockers and an exit directly on the street, 30m from the slope.

    The location for ski in and out was perfect with a ski shop next door. Prestige room was very comfortable and a good size. The half board option was excellent as each evening the hotel put on a different themed buffet . The quality and variety of the food presented was really amazing with so many different tradional dishes both hot and cold. If you are looking for chips, burgers and chicken nuggets its not for you!! All the staff were so friendly and helpful too.

    We had the best time at Chalet La Grand Ourse. We already knew Mottaret is one of the best skiing locations in the Alps and this is certainly one of the best accommodations within Mottaret. The reception areas have so much space and the kitchen/dining area is well equipped (including raclette and fondue sets!). We were grateful to not have to buy lots of things for each dish we cooked. We will certainly be coming back and would highly recommend.
