This is a gem of a boutique hotel. It's tastefully and quirkily decorated, very comfy beds and pillows, and a beautifully warm bathroom. The restaurant gets very busy, so essential to book, plenty of menu choices and a vast wine list and the food is delicious, I imagine one could put on a few kilos if you stayed longer than we did! Thank you to the staff for accommodating us, after a minor communication breakdown meant our table reservation was not on the list, we were quickly housed in the hotel cave (wine shop) on the first floor, truly a private dining experience! Breakfast is fresh croissants, self-serve for boiled eggs and everything else. High quality tea (Frères Dammann) and great coffee. Really close to the Roche de Solutre, about an hour and a half for the round walk. Highly recommend this lovely place!

The photo doesn't do the place justice, it is though some lovely villages too. I arrived at 10 past 9PM so after the kitchen was officially closed but as they were serving they said I could order. I'm so glad I did as the food was very good, delicious. I tried using my very limited French when I could but the owners English was amazing, especially Natalie who was incredibly polite and accommodating, every hotel in France should have a Natalie. Christophe sorted Breakfast which was typically French, simple, tasty and good quality. Natalie suggested a trip to a peak where you can view the valley and all the vineyards, it did not disappoint. I would 100% stay here again. This is a relaxed place in the country, don't expect it to be like a hotel in the city, and who wants that anyway? Best stay I had in 8 days.

very quiet outskirts place with huge vineyard at the back of the hotel. There is a big garden in the hotel nice to sit outside for a drink in the afternoon. Dinner is very nice. well cooked and served nicely. We enjoyed the place very much. relaxing and comfortable.

    I suspect most people do not realize just how stunning the...

    I suspect most people do not realize just how stunning the countryside is. This a great place to drive into the hills, go to wineries for tastings, have a picnic at a park onto top of one of the viewpoints. The local restaurants are high end if you wish, or you can eat more casually. You are close to the amazing the Parc des Oiseaux and the very popular and interesting Roche de Solutre.

    A lovely hotel in a lovely part of Beaujolais. We were warm welcomed and everything was explained. The room was impeccably clean, contemporary styling with Tea and Coffee making facilities and good air conditioning. Breakfast was amazing with great coffee. We had a meal in the hotel’s restaurant on our last evening and it was a gastronomic delight. So many thanks to Christine and Alain for giving us such a memorable holiday in their beautiful hotel.

    Very helpful and attentive hotel managment at all times. We liked the assortment at breakfast, the view and location among the vineyards, the vicinity to the Julienas Village. We spent a few days biking in the neighborhood, visiting wine producers. Lucky to be there in the middle of the harvest.

    Very comfortable and clean, beautifully decorated and attention to detail exceptional. Delicious breakfast, not to be missed, with homemade jams and yogurts and local produce. Fantastic value! Only about 15 minutes from the autoroute, amidst the vines in Julienas. It was perfect for us.

    Delightful hosts, lovely welcome. Stylishly decorated large bedroom and bathroom. Pool and poolside facilities were very welcome. Good choice of restaurants within easy walking distance through the vineyards, a good boulangerie in Julienas too.
