    Close to major Cognac producers in and around Jarnac, this is an excellent property to rest and relax next to the river. Breakfast is French, fresh, and fulfilling. Walks from the door. Restaurants close by for all budgets.

    Very well appointed apartment in the heart of Jarnac. Easy walking to restaurants and bars and boulangeries in the morning. Despite being on the river there was no water noise once inside the apartment. Views over the Charente from the large roof terrace are amazing, particularly at sunset. The concierge service was also impeccable. Plenty of free parking only a short walk away in the centre of town or nearby side streets. Highly recommend this property if you’re looking for a base within the Cognac countryside.

    Peaceful, private location ,easy access on foot the charming,old town of Jarnac,beautiful terrace,pool and garden.Exceptionally charming and helpful hosts,who went out of their way to help with a medical problem.We were given lifts to the local station as we came from England by train and were offered a lift to visit Cognac.They also kindly loaned us their electric bikes,provided excellent breakfasts and lots of help with our French.

    Everything, the Gite was better than we had expected. It is well equipped with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Well situated within walking distance of Jarnac town centre and only a short drive away from Cognac. Our hosts were charming and couldn't do enough for us. The fishing on the Charante river just outside the Gite was also very good.

    The location is perfect as it is located in the centre of Jarnac. The accommodation is very clean and nicely decorated. The hosts were great, and the breakfast was really good.
