    Guillestre is small town which has all the features a visitor might need. There are numerous bars and small restaurants. The food in the Guillestrois was exceptional. There are numerous guest houses. There are several traditional shops and a supermarket. Evening entertainments are frequently held in the town centre during summer.     Guillestre is a great place to stay if you want to go bike...

    Guillestre is a great place to stay if you want to go bike up the local mountains. All relevant Col's are really close. The starts of the Col de Vars and Col de Risoul are just 5 to 10 minutes by bike from the town. One thing to keep in mind is that in mid to late September, a lot of the restaurants are closing early (and fewer days open per week) and don't have all the food available that's on the menu as it's the end of the season for them.

    We arrived very late, but the hotel was very helpful and re-assured us that the room would still be available. Everyone was super friendly, check-in procedure was easy, parking was easy to find next to the hotel. It's not the fanciest room, but you don't pay for a fancy room either, but you do get attention of people who care about you and who make the most of what they have. I'd definitely come back.

    Superb position between the magnificient cols of Izoard and Vars. Everything is clean enough, you get a decent room with bathroom at the price of a hostel; as minimalistic traveller as I am I would like to see more of these places around regions full of resorts, cottages and pricy hotels. Highly recommended!

    Great value for money. I think there is even a bus closeby, but in any case if you have a car you can easily access risoul, Guillestre and other places nearby. Simple but very clean studio, with everything you need, incl a parking in front of the house

    We stayed for one night. The hotel was quiet, the room had all that was needed, wi-fi worked. Hotel staff was welcoming and kind, and they were able to accommodate our request to store our bicycles somewhere safe for the night.
