We enjoyed staying at this hotel, although the room was very small, it was quite comfortable for a one or two night stay. The location was right on the beach, but it was still quiet and peaceful in that part of the beach. The staff was very polite and friendly, thank you for your hospitality!

It was a very clean and comfortable room; very well heated;; so close to the train station; courteous and efficient receptionists who were visible all the time throughout our stay. I was aware that I would not be provided with kettle and tea and coffee-making facilities in advance but I booked in any case and was very pleased with my choice.

    Didn't get chance to look round Dunkerque as we were going elsewhere, so only got to see the beach briefly and enjoy a meal at a seafront restaurant, but it looks like a place we would have loved exploring so will come back one day.

    Dunkerque is a pretty seaside town.

    Dunkerque is a pretty seaside town. The beach front reminds me of Knocke (Belgium), with a long sandy beach and long tidal reach. Lots of history for any Englishman, but very little to see. The museum is certainly interesting but focuses on the brave French army who defended Dunkerque rather than the drama of the amazing escape. As usual in any French town, don't feel hungry outside of opening hours (12-2pm for lunch and 7-10pm for dinner). Breakfast was very hard to find (one restaurant on the beach was open early and they had sold out of all the croisants and pain au chocolat!!)

    The Operation Dynamo 1940 museum was well done and...

    The Operation Dynamo 1940 museum was well done and definitely worth a visit. Our walk along the promenade and the beach were both lovely. There are plenty of reasonable places to eat, both on the seafront and by the harbour. The sculptures garden was good fun and again well worth a visit.

    We come here often for our work. Over the years the city government has done a lot to improve the facilities in the harbor & really renovate or should I say, upgrade the most popular tourist attractions of this historical city.

    I wanted to visit Dunkirk because I am interested in history...

    I wanted to visit Dunkirk because I am interested in history; however, I was pleasantly surprised that in addition to the fascinating yet sobering monuments and museums, the beach area was beautiful and full of good restaurants and nightlife!

    Dunkirk is an attractive city with things to do and see. The tall ships were in Port whilst we were there and they provided quite an attraction. We also went for a drive along the coast and visited the beaches. They were lovely.

    From the moment that you walk through the doors, the hotel was visually stunning and exceptionally clean. The decor was beautiful and the lovely lady at reception was very attentive. She was so nice to our daughter and gave her a little nightlight that projected stars onto the ceiling (such a lovely touch!). The room was absolutely amazing with insane views and beautiful Nuxe toiletries! The bath was huge and the beds were very comfortable too. We would absolutely stay here again.

    One of the best place to stay for few days in Dunkerque. Verry clean hotel, nice staff and very good breakfast. Free parking place around hotel and fre public transport in city make the trip incredible easy. Hotel location at walking distance by train station, city center and sea dunes : ) Fully recommend!
