Sarah-Jane was a perfect host. She brought every morning a nice breakfast with local products and we were having breakfast on the terrace in front of the Appartement. The Accomodation is beautifully renovated, the double bed is very good and it has everything you need. The highlight was a wine tasting with Gerard in the fantastic wine cellar. Afterwords we had a deliciuos snack board with local products and wine from his winery. Sarah-Jane was very helpful with tips for our tours by bike. Thank you both for hosting us so well!

Fab room, especially with two young daughters - gave us our privacy, whilst still having them close. Gorgeous spa bath which was very much appreciated! Great meal at the Michelin restaurant adjacent to the hotel. Awesome breakfast the next day - something for everyone. Great castle to explore up the hill. Friendly, helpful staff.

Beautiful chateau full of heritage. Very lovely staff. Interiors of the chateau were well preserved and filled with character. The bed was really comfortable and we slept very well. Lift available for convenience.

The location is fantastic, right in the centre of Saumur off of Place Saint Pierre. The hotel is beautifully decorated and clean. Regis and the staff are all lovely, friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious. Lots of variety and homemade treats!

Very good location in the city center, but very quiet at night. Very good parking for bikes!!!!! Room is very cozy and very very clean. Breakfast was well over our expectations, just great and lots of options. i would definitely stay here again!

    The town is very small but pretty I would recommend you book early as the availability of the prime properties go fast in this area especially in Saumur which is an especially sort after location Places to eat also should be booked early too we fell foul here and eat at a basic eatery nr Distre :(

    A charming hotel with landscaped gardens. A convenient location - just a short drive to most sites. The staff were excellent - both hotel and restaurant. The food in the restaurant is exceptionally good but it isn't open every night. The rooms vary in size. On both our stays we had rooms with sloping ceilings - tricky at times but full of character.

    Superb decor, stylish, clean and modern. Spacious bedroom, with a good shower. A very good breakfast with plenty of choice. The staff were welcoming and efficient. The hotel is in a good location for the autoroute and in a fairly quiet setting. Plenty of parking. We were very impressed by the young manager.

    We always stay at The Brit hotel in Samaur when we are in the area. It is exceptionally well managed, very clean, the bedding is presented to a high standard and the manager himself is very professional yet exceptionally helpful and attentive. Excellent and would highly recommend to anyone.
