We have stayed at a few Kyriads over the years but this was undoubtedly the best. It was either brand new or had just been given a total renewal. The room was generous in size, nicely furnished and with a comfy bed and nice linen and towels. Good Breakfast. The staff were nice and very helpful.

    An elegant small city just two-and-a-quarter hours from Calais, and about 60 minutes north of Paris, Compiegne is certainly worth exploring. It is also a great place to stop off to, or on the way back from, a longer holiday in France.

    2 or 3 days would work well

    2 or 3 days would work well Plenty to see around the Chateau and its grounds. Hard to get to the Armistice clearing to see the train carriage without your own car, there's no real public transport to it. But exploring the area around there could make an interesting day There's a memorial to Buchenwald that I did not get to. The pedestrianised old town is pleasant to walk around with a great Town Hall.

    great bike paths in the forest. the city is not bike-friendly. most of the roads are very bumpy cobblestone. there are interesting places to visit which we didn't get to. favorite spot: chateau de Pierrefonds. lovely town, impressive (if 19th century rebuilt as renaissance chateaux.

    It is a small nice town.

    It is a small nice town. You can reach all sightseeing locations by walking. It is also quite close to Paris in case you want to do a day trip to Paris. We drove back and forth, it takes around 70 minutes or so. Also you can take train. It is quite convenient.

    The hotel is easily accessible from the highway and offers ample parking. Our room was spacious, very clean, and feature comfortable beds. The lobby includes useful amenities such as a coffee machine, microwave, and snack dispenser. Staff at reception were friendly and helpful. Shops and a riverside park are within walking distance. Access after 9 PM can be slightly unclear; clearer instructions at the entrance would be helpful. Overall, a highly recommendable stay.

    A good size of room. Very comfortable bed and bedding and the room was serviced daily. An excellent breakfast buffet with a wide choice of items. The central location is very convenient, both for the town and the train station. There are three very close car parking options; the hotel's own car park, a paying public car park and if you get lucky, there's free public parking within 100m of the hotel.

    Amazing hotel, looks brand new, stylish, modern and clean, we booked Junior suite for a very good price. It had a free parking and we had a dog with us. It was a real pleasure to stay here, very polite recepton lady, also there is a discount at the restaurant nearby. Hotel has a spa, even though I’m not a huge fan, it looked nice. Definitely will use it for our stopovers in future.
