Never been here actually BUT. I had a reservation in this Hotel. The plan was to meet a friend in Geneva and sleep in Atalante after thag. The check in time stops at 10.00 pm and we were late, so she offered me to sleep in her house instead. So thank you! ❤️ 10/10 deserved

I stayed here for a week during my exam session at the University of Geneva, and I had everything that I needed during this very stressful time. I asked for a more silent room and got a room opposite from the railway, so there was no noise at all. Room was spacious and the bed was very big and comfortable. Breakfast was great with fresh products and good choice. The staff was very kind and welcoming, especially the staff at breakfast. Location is just a few minutes from the train station. The reception is open 24/7 and the building is very safe, which is important in Annemasse. Tha k you for making me feel so comfortable during this week that was so stressful for me.

Very modern, tidy, and comfortable. The staff were friendly and it is less than 5 minutes away from the train station which provides a regular 20-30 minute train into Geneva. Plenty of food places nearby, and a laundromat just down the road.

The apartment was exactly as described and was the perfect base for a few days in Geneva, taking only 20 mins on the train to the main station. Lydia was super helpful and attentive whenever messaged. The apartment was really modern and had everything needed for a few days stay, including a nice private balcony, coffee machine, washing machine etc. The location was perfect for commuting in and out of Geneva, just a short walk from the station and a 5-10 min walk from any shops and cafes in Annemasse.

    Ideal to sleep over and access cities around. Annecy is lovely and Geneve has a lot to offer but you can also easily go to Evian, or even other cities in Switzerland like Lausanne, in little time. The train station has a lot of trains throughout the day that are punctual.

    Annemasse is located near border with Switzerland. A border town, poorly maintained, not giving good vibes. At the time we visited, there were a lot of road works in progress, making it hard to navigate with car. We could not drive to our apartment. We could not find safe parking place. Only option we found was with monthly payment, we needed for four days/nights. We ended up going to different place for our trip time.

    I didn't explore the area.

    I didn't explore the area. We were always out to Geneva so can't say much about annemasse. I liked that the accommodation is near the station for easy transportation to Geneva. We cooked our food, we didn't try any of the food around.

    I'm not sure what I was expecting but Annemasse is not...

    I'm not sure what I was expecting but Annemasse is not particularly charming or exciting. It felt more like a working class suburb of Geneva. I didn't feel that comfortable walking around at night. So I didn't go out much. The main plaza has some charm and some delightful dining opportunities but overall I found the location to be rather unmemorable. I went to the casino there and was very disappointed. One of the reasons I have occasionally enjoyed my time in casinos in Las Vegas was because of the ability to sit and chat with the dealer and fellow players. But in this casino every game was automated. It was more like anonymous drones chugging away at slot machines than anything that I would call entertaining or charming. NOTE: There is a tram that goes into Geneva and a train. The tram was very close to the apartment where I was staying so it was very convenient to get into and out of Geneva. The train was faster but the train station was not as close to the center of town. I give Geneva a thumbs up for the public transportation even though Annemasse was not that great. All in all, if you want to see Geneva on a budget, Annemasse is a decent option. But next time I travel to this area I think I'll just stay in Geneva proper. Much more exciting, cosmopolitan, and active.

    Great hub connecting you to all the good sightseeing towns...

    Great hub connecting you to all the good sightseeing towns around while saving a ton by avoiding Swiss prices. People in Annemasse itself are friendly and the restaurants are overall pretty good. 75% or more of the establishments speak English. No one ever refused service over language barrier like in Paris etc. Only cons are the downtown streets smell and are rough in some spots buts that's any city it seems.

    A great place...convenient travel into Geneva and to other major centers (Lausanne) in Francophone Switzerland without draining your bank account. Love stores like Monoprix where you can buy essentials for very affordable prices :)!

    This hotel was better than I expected. There’s nothing fancy. Plain but with all necessary amenities. Electrical kettle - so unusual for hotels in France - is a great plus. Very clean. Located a few minutes walk both from the train station and the tram 17 which makes it easy to get to Geneva. Altogether a very pleasant experience

    The Hotel is in the center of Annemasse, so you may hear some in the evenings, but if you have a room facing the backyard it is quite good. The hotel is decent, though modest. The rooms are not big, but sufficient The bed is good, and the bathroom nice white, clean and tidy. Very helpful and nice staff :)

    Owner is very friendly and offered to wait for us at the station to bring us to the apartment, other than helping us to carry our luggage. He even provided us with extra heater when requested. The apartment is 10 mins walking distance from the Annemasse.
