We stayed for 4 nights and in our first night we arrived late, but everything was prepared for us. The apartament has everything you need, from games and coloring pencils for children to bathrobes and some.winter clothes, also all kitchen appliances, even a sauna and sledges. It is very clean, has wifi and Netfilx. Our host was so helpfull with all the info we requested. The outside scenery is great, having the forest and lakes so close, making it possible to see the northen lights. Pekka was so kind to give a ride to my five years old boy with a snow quad. Although is an hour away from Rovaniemi we did lots of activities in Rovaniemi and really enjoyed the road because we had the chance to see reindeers more than once, It was incredibile. Choose this property If You have a rented car, be adventurous and enjoy real Finland, not just a touristic place. Close there are Husky farm, and reindeer farm. If possible we'll come back!!l

I highly recommend this accommodation! Everything was perfect. The house was so cozy, beautiful, clean and well equipped. Like a dream house :) The owner welcomed us so lovely : as we were in January there was a Christmas tree inside waiting for us and other decorations. Everything was lighting for our welcome :) there was even a jar of home made jam! The owners were so helpful and kind, they even helped us in organizing some attractions. There surrounding is beautiful, lake is very close just a short walk from a house. For us it was a memorable stay and I am sure it would be for everybody :)

Location stunning! Peaceful & tranquil. Perfect base for visiting all the family as we do every year! Cottage was smaller than it looked in photos. Fire was a lovely cosy addition. Bed was a mattress on floor upstairs, comfortable for me but himself being taller found it a struggle to get comfortable so slept on sofa downstairs. We like our own space but perfect for those who don't mind being on top of each other. Going outside in middle of night to bathroom not ideal in the cold, easier in Summer i'd guess. Key was accessible. We cleaned up rather than pay the fee, it took 20 mins. Finland is in my genes & in my heart & it was only property in area available for our dates, our favourite Bears Lodge was fully booked up since our stay year previously. It was clean & we weren't disturbed. Guy ploughed snow every day. Wood stack was plenty. Sauna .. fabulous..a must in Finland & now we are building ourselves one here in Ireland!

Beautiful Chalet with amazing interieur! Sauna is amazing too and very cozy tent available for everyone for eating with big fireplace in the middle. Especially lovely was Tiia, the hostess that takes care of the village. She is the best and always makes sure you have everything you need! The village is just by the lake, so beautiful. We saw Northern Nights both Nights we stayed there, so lucky!
