A gem in walking distance to Bole International Airport. Not that it matters really as they provide a complimentary shuttle to and from the Airport. Staff are fantastic and the rooms are very modern and comfortable each with a balcony. This is my preferred place for transiting.

The hotel was fantastic from staff, room and varieties of food, room was was clean and had comfortable mattress, only thing to remember is on the knobs of showers and basin you will have turn it to the blue side for hot water and red for cold, had to call the reception and they called the plumber who was very helpful ✊🏾

"I had a wonderful stay at Mesay Hotel! The room was very clean. I would like to thank the hotel manager, Yohanes, for his hospitality, welcoming and seeing off guests, and his attention to every aspect. The staff were very friendly. The spa services were excellent. The only downside was the limited breakfast options. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for your next trip!"

AMAZING STAFF with a smile than never leaves their beautiful faces. :) They are always ready to help. I loved their hospitality, from the reception desk till the cleaning lady. I stayed for a whole week, and I have never felt more at home. <3 The best part is that the hotel is a walking distance from all the malls, Edna mall, Selam city mall, friendship store and hypermarket... <3 And... you have got to check out their lounge on the 9th floor... GREAT VIBE!

Rooms are a good size , super clean, bed very comfortable. Nice room facilities. TV with different channels. Staff are friendly and helpful. Hotel is just a few minutes drive from the airport(if no traffic). There are some shops and restaurants in the area. Hotel has a nice coffee shop in lobby. Breakfast provided by the hotel is decent and has a good choice. Taking in account the money I paid for this hotel I consider it good value for the money and wouldn’t hesitate returning there.

The care from Tilahun, the night manager, has been fantastic. He was super careful and took care of us in our 2 stays!!!natanael the Waiter was great as well as habtamu who cooked for us super late! Great place to be close to the airport.

    Be prepared for lots of holes in the sidewalks , and people begging/soliciting . We always felt slightly uneasy when going for a walk , and the many construction sites have you walking in the street with seemingly inconsiderate drivers . We spent more time in the hotel because walking around wasn't enjoyable .

    Despite that it was really rainy, we managed to go to Unity...

    Despite that it was really rainy, we managed to go to Unity Park, Entot Park, Technology Museum, visit the Palace Museum and went shopping for traditional clothing at Shiro Meda and the leather market. I definitely recommend the palace museum visit.

    The area we were in was under a lot of construction making...

    The area we were in was under a lot of construction making it difficult to walk anywhere. When we did walk we were targeted by pickpockets. Luckily we were on to them and avoided any losses. Having been to Addis Ababa before I know there are a lot of great things to see in the city, this was a short business trip. You will need to have reliable transportation in order to get around the city. For longer stays, find a reliable driver to hire for the week.

    i liked bole airport. its clean. the town, at least where i visited in CBD is clean. the taxis are fare is ideal. people i met are friendly. The prices of items is too high i couldn't buy anything there. The hotels are also very expensive. Generally things there are expensive. I liked the fact that public schools are free.

    Silence, peace, comfort. Away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Addis Ababa. Fantastic staff. Polite, very helpful boss. Every question, every request, every need - treated by him very quickly and helpfully. The hotel is clean and cleaned regularly. Hot water in the shower. Safely around the hotel. Tasty breakfasts. Airport transfer even in the middle of the night. Help with shopping, trips, souvenirs and amazing Ethiopian coffee. It was a great time! Thank you!
