    We didn't leave the Hacienda so can't say much about the surrounding area but the property itself is beautiful with plenty to discover in the extensive grounds. The bar, restaurant, cellar and outside areas are very well maintained and the staff are excellent. The property is private but not remote, good parking facilities, wine available to buy so leave some space in the car.

    This is a great hotel, well worth a visit, we stayed en route by car from the Algarve back to Santander for the ferry home. The food is great, wonderful cured meats and cheeses, a great atmosphere, wonderful , helpful staff, it's a great place and we thoroughly enjoyed the visit.

    Wow we loved this place and couldn't recommend it highly enough! Location incredible, facilities superb and all the staff went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Food and drink so reasonably priced in the hotel.
