While not primarily a tourist town, Pontedeume is on the Camino Ingles and has lots of through hikers. We found it to be a prosperous and typical Galician town, in pretty valley overlooking the tidal Rio Eume, and used it as a base of operations for exploring the nearby Rias Atlas and Fragas do Eume, for which it was perfect, and a more quaint setting than larger A Coruña or Ferrol.Guest review byKen from SlidellUnited States

How lucky I was! This is a family business, hotel with restaurant, and the owners make you feel home. A good food, a comfortable room, and everything you need (I needed a tea with brandy and some heating in the room because I've got cold).
