The welcome was great, the staff were really pleasant. We got a lovely room with a sea and mountain view. It was our wedding anniversary and there was a nice bottle of cava in the room. They were very thoughtful. Breakfast was good and the Thalassotherapy spa was very relaxing. We used the spa every day. The location was great as it had a beach, walks, several restaurants and some nice bars in the immediate location. Plus it was a 20 minute drive into the centre of San Sebastian from there.

super clean. once we worked out the check in system then easy. they handled our luggage transfers and did a great job. we ate at the restaurant downstairs. the calamari and salad were great. pork I wouldn't order again

The atmosphere, the superfriendly staff, the eye for detail, the superb restaurant: everything was wonderful. It is an oasis of peace and calm, only 15 minutes by car from the centre of San Sebastian. A wonderful boutique hotel in a restored 17th century building in the heart of Getaria old town. A hand full of steps to everything. A beautiful, comfortable room with a super view over the beach and coast road. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful and accommodating, assisting us with restaurant recommendations and routes onto our next destination. Just a wonderful introduction to the joy of the Basque Country and Basque hospitality.

    Orio is a lovely little sea side town.

    Orio is a lovely little sea side town. Not picturesque as such, the beach is the main draw and the town has shops, bars and restaurants enough to make a stay fun. The locals all seemed very friendly and welcoming. In this area few speak Engligh (one attraction for us) but all the shop and restaurant staff were patient while we worked through Google Tranlate or my little phrase book.

    Our overnight stop could not have been better. Top class boutique hotel. Wonderfully comfortable bed, spacious bedroom,great decor and very helpful owner. They had thought of every detail to make your stay special. Glass of cava on arrival and freshly cooked dinner. Great breakfast. Provided a bed and bowl for our dog so he was looked after too. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Free on site parking too!

    The spa was wonderful with lots of pools with massage jets as well as a sauna and steam room. Perfect fir us having walked there from San Sebastián. Hotel staff were extremely helpful, rooms were comfortable and very light with pleasant balconies. Super breakfast with good coffee and plenty of choice.

    Spectacular views from a lovely peaceful room. Friendly owners and excellent breakfasts. The hotel is in a vibrant rural location surrounded by lovely walks. Hopefully we will return one day.

    A lovely property very near the station which is ideal for exploring the area. The lovely Town of Orio was also within very easy walking distance as was the beach.
