The hostel has a convenient location, a clean room with a nice renovation, and all necessary amenities. Pedro was very attentive—he even picked me up from the station due to bad weather and allowed me to leave my backpack at the reception after check-out. Thank you so much, the best choice!

we stayed at Jorge&wife in August 2024. I recommend 10 out of 10 (because the maximum rating is 10 😊) this property for the exquisite hospitality of the hosts (and also Susanna) and for the quiet location. As soon as we arrived Jorge (the owner) told us: “es tu casa” … it was true!!!! I recommend going to Finisterre to go to Jorge.

The location is very good.its right at the beach.The most important is the service that it provides. It provides food and snacks for breakfast and even fresh orange juice too. bed is very very comfortable and it also have a large courtyard for laundry and dry clothes with the sun ☀️

The apartment was cozy and beautiful. Right in front of the sea, the view was just beautiful. Beds were so comfortable, best sleep I had in 2 weeks along the camino. Also, right next to the bus stop as well. I'll definitely would love to come back for the next camino.

We loved this place. Everything was very clean, and the atmosphere was great. Our stay was calm and we recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet and original place close to the beach. The private terrace with the bathtub is perfect for peaceful relaxation, with a complete feeling of privacy. The owner was very kind and communication was quick and easy.

    This is a lovely little town with a cosy feel tucked in 2...

    This is a lovely little town with a cosy feel tucked in 2 kms from the cape at the end of the peninsula. It has a magnificent long white sandy beach with pristine waters and a smaller sandy beach near the port. Lots of eateries and cafes, and an all-round feeling of joy and relief among the visitors who have just ended their camino. I have been twice and loved it both times.

    Beautiful coastal location.

    Beautiful coastal location. Though main beach wasnt very clean - litter and dead bird. Different local beaches were fantastic though - like a dream location. The Cape Finisterra lighthouse was a tourist attraction that ruined it. Nice markets. Restaurants were ok, though often wouldn’t let you sit just for a drink. Overpriced. Buses were a nightmare to manage and everyone waiting were confused where to go and which bus to get, with not very helpful drivers, though the bus stop was right in the centre which is great. Sunset boat rides. Everything needed was central. Supermarket, ice cream shops, restaurants, banks, ATMs, cafes, hippy store, market, hotels etc.

    For me, Finisterre has special significance.

    For me, Finisterre has special significance. I have walked the Camino de Santiago in Spain many times on different routes. Arriving in Santiago and receiving my Compostela is not the end of my Camino. I know my Camino is truly complete when I am sitting on the Mar de Fora beach with a bottle of wine watching the sunset. There are wonderful places to eat. The port and lighthouse are always interesting, but the experience of watching the sunset in Finisterre keeps calling me back.

    On my Camino this was by far the best place I have stayed at. The room was super clean and smelled fresh. The bed was fantastic. The breakfast unparalleled with a great variety of cheeses, hams, sweets, yoghurt, bread and fruits. Not to forget the delicious omelet that was made for every visitor in the morning. What made this stay even more special was the kindness and care of the owners and their staff. They made me feel so welcome. I am 100% coming back here when in Fisterra!

    The room was clean, modern. A it small and basic, but plenty of room for 1 person and value for money. Bathroom clean and well equipped, had shampoo and body wash, nice soft towels. The host was very nice and welcoming. Small hotel, but well maintained. The location was outside of the town centre, about 15min walk but only 3 minutes from the beach. You get keys to the main door too, do come and go when you please. I would stay again.

    This was an amazing find. We had walked from Negreria to Finisterre in the rain so booked a room here last minute. Even though we arrived before check-in time, the host kindly let us to our room and even upgraded us. This hotel is so relaxing, the room was gorgeous, staff friendly, couldn't recommend enough and we will stay again. Also, the owner had a lovely dog who welcomed us.
