One of the best, if not the best place I stayed on the Camino. Quiet area amongst the trees. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Dinner was the perfect fuel after a 30km day. Alex gave me the best tips for travel post Camino and I enjoyed hearing the history of Abeiro da loba- special! Highly recommend walking a short 6km past Sobrado to spend the night here whilst doing the Norte, absolutely worth it!

Beautiful room and exceptional location next to the monastery. The air con was an absolute bonus given the hot weather and humidity here host was really helpful in sorting out codes and check in. Would thoroughly recommend as a stop for weary pilgrims.

Albergue was clean, with heating throughout the cold night. Stan the hospitalero, allowed free use of towels, washing machine and dryer yo the peregrines as it was his first day reopening for the season. Stan himself was a very welcoming host and went out of his way to help a female peregrine on a bicycle who had spent the previous night out in the rain. He showed himself a very decent human being in accommodating her. Kudos!

Great location, brand new property, extremely clean, wonderful breakfast, amazing coffee. My mum and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights back in September She has reduced mobility but we had no problem at all moving around the hotel with the wheelchair. Her room was amazing, special mention to the WC completely adapted for people with special needs. This place is without any doubt the best hotel in the area. The best part is the wonderful staff ( I apologize for not remembering their names ) , they truly make this place special. We will be back for sure!!! Verónica
