The hotel overlooks Praia Madelena, a beautiful beach. There's a great walk up to headland, and along to the harbour. Staying at this hotel you are also directly in the town center for shops, restaurants etc. I booked a room overlooking the beach and it was comfortable, clean and well designed. All of the fittings are new, well-built, stylish and modern. The mattress and bedding were very comfortable, the bathroom was spacious with good toiletries (including a toothbrush, mini toothpaste and a shaving kit) and ample towels. Breakfast included a choice of quality food and drinks (cereals, yoghurts, toast, fresh bread, conserves, cheese and various kinds of jamon, eggs and bacon, fruit juices, teas and coffee).

    What I liked the most about the place was its amazing location with a stunning view, close to the town of Cedeira. The kitchen was very comfortable and well-equipped, everything was perfectly clean, and the communication with the hosts was excellent. We truly recommend this place to anyone looking for peace, beauty, and comfort. We would be more than happy to return in the future – it was a wonderful stay!

    This is a small family run hotel and ALL of the staff were amazing and very friendly and welcoming! I arrived very late at night (after midnight) but one of the staff (Javier) was still waiting to greet me with a very warm welcome. The hotel really felt like home from home and the level of cleanliness throughout the hotel was exceptionally good, not only in the rooms, but also in the public areas too!

    We had a wonderful few days at the Hotel As Jarras in Cedeira. The hotel exudes a special charm. It is located in a picturesque, quiet area right next to a church, ist tastefully decorated and ist lovingly run by the friendly owners. You feel very comfortable. In a large hotel you are just a number, at As Jarras you have a name.

    We were met by our host who gave us the keys. Parking was nearby and easy. Cedeira is a very pleasant town within easy walking distance, as was the beach and harbour.
