EVERYTHING... Staying at Hotel Faro was incredible. I had half board and didn't have to worry about where or what to eat. The meals were delicious, and the selection of food in the buffet was extraordinary. Location is fantastic, just right in from of the beach and close to bars and restaurants. Can't recommend Hotel Faro enough. The live music every night is just a beautiful touch to unwind your day over a glass of wine overlooking the ocean. Not to forget the incredible staff, whom made me feel welcomed at all times. Do yourself a favor and book your stay here.

The location was fantastic – you have plenty of great restaurants nearby as well as within the resort itself. It’s a perfect place to enjoy dinner and then take a nice evening walk, since the resort also has a kind of shopping area where you can spend time and relax. The hotel is directly by the sea, and you can see the ocean right from the property, which makes the view and atmosphere truly special. The resort itself feels like a palm tree oasis, with beautiful landscaping that gives you the impression of being in a tropical paradise. The large infinity pool was another highlight I really enjoyed.

We selected Salobre due to closeness to 27 hole golf course. Proshop is on the ground floor of the hotel and golf cart you get in front of the hotel. We liked swimming in the heated pool and fantastic breakfasts and dinners. Rooms were clean and staff were friendly.

Pleasant, well looked after grounds. Air con. Spacious and comfortable accommodation. Table and chairs outside accommodation. HDMI port in TV a challenge to access and didn’t work. Plenty of free parking. Separate sunbathing away from pool. Good check-in and check-out times. Enjoyed Table Tennis. Price was good especially as breakfast included.

    At first, Arguineguín didn’t impress me much, but it quickly grew on me. It has a lot of local charm, small shops, good ice cream, cafés, a nice seaside promenade, and even a boat connection to Puerto de Mogán. It’s also a great starting point for cycling routes into the mountains.

    Arguineguin was a fishing village and although it has been extended it is still not huge which is exactly why we loved it. There are more than enough restaurants and places to eat, there is a weekly market on the seafront, but despite all of this it feels like a small community and everybody was so friendly, we had a fabulous time.

    It is a small town with plenty of restaurants and cafes. There are 2 beaches and a harbour where you can take a boat to Porto Rico or Morgan. There is a bus service to other towns and you can travel to Maspalomas bus station for even more destinations. At the port there is a fantastic fish and seafood restaurant not to be missed

    A pleasant small town with many resort type restaurants. Patalavaca, abour half a mile along the coast has better beaches. If we return to Gran Canaria we will probably stay in Maspalomas with even better beaches and more modern facilities.

    I have been coming to Arguineguin for thirty years and it has improved beyond recognition. It is a delightful fishing harbour , it offers excellent fish and seafood restaurants and sandy beaches. It is a very safe place too.

    This smallish resort has everything for a happy holiday.

    This smallish resort has everything for a happy holiday. A lovely safe natural sea pool and other beaches within a few minutes walk. Plenty of restaurants to choose from with varied cuisines. There is a good Spar just around the bay so you don't need to go to the one which is in the main street of the town. The town is rather busy but once you are on the resort you forget that and enjoy the natural beauty. It takes about 30 mins to drive to the airport. We hired a car and explored the island but you could easily spend the whole of your holiday here.
