It's located only 40 minutes from Jerez de la Frontera and has such a unique look to it, there is trail all around the town that offers unique and breathtaking views of the city. One of the most beautiful "White Towns" (Pueblos Blancos) in the de Cádiz province. Its located on top of a steep cliff with breathtaking views of the surroundings. The town has beautiful whitewashed buildings, narrow winding cobblestone streets, and historic monuments like the Church of San Pedro and the Castle of Arcos. The food is delicious, there-s plenty of places to eat at a very affordable prices, to suit all budgets. Arcos de la Frontera is the starting point for the White towns tour. Parking is in an underground car park outside the old town and the climb to the church and mirador is steep. There are plenty of good bars and restaurants, make the effort to get to the top. The Parador was good but not great service or menu, we preferred the other restaurant we used. The hotel atrium/courtyard is tastefully decorated and is where guests take a delicious breakfast (there are two breakfasts...a cheaper continental breakfast and a more pricey gourmet one). He also made sure I could leave early the next morning to avoid the midday heat. The property is beautifully renovated and right in the heart of Arcos de la Frontera.
