Exceptional all round with an incredible history to go with it. All available to read at your leisure. Such an amazing property made more so by the hospitality of the hosts. What a lovely family. So many added extras to make you feel special. Filter coffee, sangria and beer gifts. Full kitchen stocked with anything you could need. Beds were so comfortable and the house inside and out was so aesthetically pleasing. The pool was an added bonus after a hot day. Love the outside area too. Such a beautiful space. Thank you 😊

One of the best staying over ever! Wonderful big room, so nicely done. Lovely bed, gorgeous sheets, fantastic balcony with views big beautiful bathroom. Hosts so very friendly, made us feel really welcomed. Green fantastic garden with fruit trees (you are allowed to pick) and a nice pool. Breakfast perfect; a great variety of choices. Freshly made orange juice, fruits, eggs, yoghurt, bread, bacon, cheese, almost whatever you want. Very good cofee. The surroundings with the beautiful hamlet of Alora and mountains. The feeling of being in a lively countryside with the sounds of birds, chickens, a donkey, horses and barking dogs. Two friendly beatiful cats outside the establishment welcomed us (not allowed inside though so it should not be a problem for allergy suffers to stay here. Everything is very nice and clean inside. Over all, we could not be more satisfied. A piece of Paradise.

Two adults and one 6 yo kid have been enjoying a great time at El Cielo Azul. The garden covered by shade and the perfectly size pool was the main attraction for us. Our son was having great fun at the pool as it has the perfect size him for learning to swim better. The privacy given by the garden permitted us to enjoy long and restful afternoon/mornings. The room was clean and tidy with clean and modern bathroom.

The apartment is stunning with a lovely balcony and a huge kitchen with everything needed, as well as a cute honesty bar. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms which were very clean. It also has a very comfy lounge with huge TV, that we were able to use our Netflix account on. It is opposite a great bar and restaurant, and walking distance to lots of others and shops. We were only there for one night as we were walking the Caminito Del Rey next morning but I wish it could have been more.

A typical Andalusia white village, great facilities including shops, restaurants, banks, a castle with some wonderful walks. Be aware the train station is on the outskirts of the village. We have been coming to Alora for over 15 years and continue to enjoy the village & sounding area.

It has stunning views and is very Spanish. It's not really a tourist hot spot, so there are far more locals than visitors, which in my opinion is very welcome. Good mixture of bars and restaurants, shops and supermarkets. Close to stunning walks and hikes.

Alora is a fabulous place.

Alora is a fabulous place. A bit hilly but after a few days we were up the steep slopes like a 16 year old. Plenty of options for food and bars but you will easily find 'your local' People are friendly and if you need help there'll be someone yo help you out. Easy transport to Malaga and every where but Alora has everything for day to day living..

very traditional whitewashed villge come small town. A couple of interesting historic sites. Doesn't really cater for tourists in the evenings - takeaway or chinese is about it. Transport needs to be looked at carefully so you don't get stuck somewhere you can't easily get back from.

We booked for a week, but if staying longer, would have travelled further afield by train, to see more of the area. Plenty taxis nearby to get to and from the railway station. Alora is a hilly village, we took a taxi up to the Castle and walked back. Went to the bakers every morning for fresh bread, and the various fruit shops to get our fruit, and two quite big well stocked supermarkets, and a butcher shop

Beautiful, spacious apartment. A lot of thought has gone into the furnishings and kitchen equipment. Really comfortable beds and sofas. I particularly liked being in the residential area of Álora. There are lovely, inexpensive restaurants within a 2 minute walk. We particularly loved the pizza at La Fontana. Sol del Río has a lovely view of the river and Álora from the back tables. Private parking is a bonus. The whole complex is very well maintained and secure. The owner is very friendly and enquired often if we were okay by messaging.

For the money it was exceptional!! Its situated between Álora and a smaller town Pizarra and the main building is a rather swanky Asador ( mainly meat restaurant) we had been to many times when we had a house nearby The room was spotlessly clean with tea and coffee making facilities and en suite. Bed comfy. We were sent lots of information the dau before - how to access the property, local area etc There is also a car park on site. The restaurant is high quality and staff friendly.

Not the usual process but the owner kindly picked us up from Alora translation and took us to the apartment and then handed the keys over, we were not expecting this....... The apartment was very clean, modern and tidy and for a change no leaking shower. There is everything in the apartment that you could ever hope for including Steam Iron, Hair Dryer, Small Hair Tongs, dishwasher tablets, washing machine liquids and even a decent BBQ and beer in the fridge.

We have stayed in many apartments, this was one of the most professional, most comfortable and best equipped. Not only is the view beautiful, but it is a really comfortable and easy-to-use apartment, where you would like to spend even longer periods of time. And the welcome pack is very generous, far exceeding expectations. If you are staying in Alora, it is definitely one of the best choices!
