Great location, clean rooms, not big but it has everything you need, really cool wardrobe. Bathroom is nice. Breakfast I can recomend, great job Western hotel. We were with bycicles and in garage is place where you can park it. Hotel is direct on bicycles route. Also hotel is 10 minutes walking from old town

We have known the owners for decades and two generations, and they maintained the quality of F&B and the atmosphere. They were very accommodating, very helpful, and friendly to everyone. It was like coming home. Over all these years, they have maintained an exceptionally high standard of delivering a wonderful experience. They were swamped, and everyone got the same attention.     If you are a photography afficionado Wetzlar is a good place to visit. And please note: you don't need to be a Leica fanboy/girl to enjoy what Leica has to offer in terms of exhibitions and information at their Leica World. Apart from this aspect of a visit to Wetzlar there isn't really that much to keep you occupied. There is a quaint historic city centre, lovely shops and boutiques, good restaurants and pubs. But that's about it ...

    I know Wetzlar my whole life as I grew up just a couple of miles from there. Wetzlar has changed since I was a kid but it still has its charm. Best place is the "Altstadt" and the area around the Lahnufer.

    Wetzlar is a gorgeous old town with loads of history.

    Wetzlar is a gorgeous old town with loads of history. There is a beautiful park along both sides of the river and activities such as canoeing available. Plenty of restaurants and beer gardens by the old bridge. I was only there one evening but wished I had longer!

    Beautiful city a combination of the medieval with deep Technology. In a matter of minutes you can walk from a a quaint mediaeval Village complete with half-timbered architecture to world leading facilities from Leica.

    Very friendly and helpful front desk staff, like the variety of breakfast, restaurant staff are very friendly and willing to help at anytime. We booked 2 rooms, both have wonderful view of the whole Leitz-Park, one of it is car themed room, which is a big surprised to me. The staircase in hotel exhibit beautiful photos as well, there are hidden surprised to find. Wish we could have stayed longer.
