The museum in the Upper Castle is the best thing to visit in Siegen, which explains the history of the royalty who lived there, especially the Nassau / Oranje family whose descendants are still on the Dutch throne. Also good detail of the iron ore mining and iron/steel manufacture locally. We didn't find much else in Siegen to tempt us, but were glad to go out to Freudenberg to see the large number of attractive timbered houses.Guest review byRichAtUnited Kingdom - 6.0
