I was here for two nights when traveling solo to the area with my motorbike. The hotel is in a big Bavarian-style building, modernized in the interior with all comforts, but retaining the traditional aura you may be looking for when visiting this lovely region. The staff is nice and welcoming. Very comfortable big single room, with sitting area, working table, tv, serious wardrobe, very large single bed, large bathroom with heater also in the warm season (ideal when traveling by motorbike in the rain...), stylish wooden furniture and with all conveniences. Modern elevator to get upstairs. Very nice spa, with sauna, steam bath, silent room and outside thermal pool (heated). Fantastic location, isolated in nature, secluded yet very easy to reach through a dedicated access road, with a gorgeous panorama! Good food in the evening, and very rich and high quality breakfast. I would say, a perfect stay, apart from the horrible weather :) I will definitely consider staying here again, if I will come to the area another time.

The Hotel Fischerwirt was really perfect for our family. The apartment provided more than enough room for us to spread out, relax and get some much needed rest. The open space behind the hotel was absolutely wonderful, allowing our boys to place fussball and run around burning off all that youthful energy. The playground was also great and our boys made up a fun obstacle course that entertained them while we enjoyed a few biers amd the mountain views! The breakfast was fantastic, a perfect Bavarian start to the day with plenty of options. We especially loved the leberkase! We ate two dinners there probably should have made it three instead of in town in Ruhpolding. The portions were large and the food very good.

For us it was only a stop for a night to rest, but for sure we will be back. The breakfast is excellent, I have never seen so many varieties. The vibe and the landscape surrounded is nice and also a big plus for kids activities in the area.

    I came to Ruhpolding to watch the World Cup Biathlon race held there. The town is beautiful and easy to get to via auto or train. My hope is to return in the summer sometime and enjoy hiking and other outdoor activities.

    Our stay included a local bank holiday and there seemed to be a lot of families with young children and babies staying at the hotel. Consequently, the pool ares and sauna were too overcrowded to use and there was a lot of noise in the leisure areas and dining room. The grounds to the hotel are expansive and beautifully maintained and we were pleased to find there is a short scenic walk to RUHPOLDING , an interesting town with a good compliment of shops and cafes. The rooms are cleaned every other day unless otherwise requested but they forgot to leave towels when they cleaned. The reception staff are polite but seemed indifferent. The restaurant staff are very pleasant and professional.

    We have visited Ruhpolding on many occasions but not for 4 years (covid etc). We returned to find a thriving community, busier (but comfortable) town centre than last time we visited & excellent local facilities.

    A great place to escape the tourist rush. Plenty of activities in and around town. Staying at a Hotel with Breakfast and Diner included saves time and stress of finding a restaurant and deciding what to have for diner.

    The property included a cafe on the ground floor. This is where I picked up the key. The apartment was Ideal for a single person or a couple. It is in a great location in the center of Ruhpolding and close to the train station. Great views all around. The apartment also had a balcony which would be ideal for relaxing weather permitting. No breakfast was included but a selection of food was available in the cafe on the ground floor. They also sold a good selection of cakes and coffees. All in all a very nice place to stay.

    We had a wonderful time at the hotel. The accomodations were very nice. It's an older Bavarian building but the rooms are renovated! The breakfast was also nice and it's just minutes into the Bavarian Alps. The best part of the whole stay was the owner. He greeted us and conversed with us as we were neighbors. Highly recommend a stay whether your skiing or hiking or just want a relaxing vacation.

    The hotel is not big, but beautiful. We liked the view of the mountains, the room had a balcony. Our neighbors were a little noisy, but no big deal. The staff is very nice. Dinner at the hotel is not provided (even for money); there is a cafe across the road, the hotel gives a discount on it.
