One of the best accommodation we have ever been. Every thing and every detail in the room has its sense. Everything is comfortable. Hosts are friendly. If you don´t mind to be a little bit apart and to use the car or bicycle to visit local sightseeing it is a perfect and quiet place. You cand get Xanten or Rees within couple of minutes by card. To Holland (Arnhem and Nijmegen less than one hour by car). If there will be a chace, we like to come back.

We have stayed here several times it's a great location in a small town just outside Rees. The accommodation is superb On this occasion we had a room with a balcony, perfect on a hot day to get some air. We had both breakfast and dinner which again were superb Would recommend this hotel for good quality food and accommodation near the Rhein.

Accommodation was great. Unfortunately because of my travel route I was much later than expected. The owner was friendly even though I was four hours later than I thought. Very clean and quiet. Slept very well. Would have liked to explore Haldern and Rees but no time.

The hotel was well priced, rooms were big and comfy, views over the river were excellent. The hotel in general was well maintained and clean, and I wouldn't hesitate to go back there.

It is in a lovely rural location, we were given a two bedroom apartment for two adults & 1 child when in other hotels everyone is crammed in one room
