The food in the hotel is amazing! Very hearty and lavish breakfast. Excellent German food in the restaurant. Great Schnitzel, duck and fillet. The restaurant is super cosy and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We loved being there and felt very well looked after.

The host's hospitality shone through from the start, providing clear arrival instructions and an entry code for seamless self-check-in. Located to the right of the main house with clear "Ferienwohnung Louisenhof" signage, the apartment couldn't be easier to locate. It includes its own private parking space and entrance. Pro tip: turn the door handle all the way down – once you know this trick, entry is effortless. The apartment offers a thoughtfully designed open-plan layout featuring: - spacious living area with comfortable seating and dining for two - fireplace that adds ambiance - fully equipped kitchen with every amenity imaginable - cozy bedroom with an exceptionally comfortable bed - sleek, modern bathroom with shower The ability to open all windows ensures excellent cross-ventilation, keeping the space fresh even during summer. Trierweiler proves an ideal base for exploring the region. Within walking distance, you'll find a fresh German bakery, while a well-stocked supermarket and pharmacy are just a bit further. The village itself charms with its walkways, chapel, and welcoming church. For day trips, both historic Trier and Luxembourg City are short drives away. Nature lovers shouldn't miss the Irreler Wasserfälle – we highly recommend the challenging but rewarding hike to Teufelsschlucht for its breathtaking views.     The bedroom was good as stated However restuarant and bar shut no apology or concern Very bad and disappointing Got a phone call at 8pm asking rather rudely where we were we were only 5 minutes away trying to find it but no offer of directions etc We were only booked in at 8pm so rather rude and uncaring Wanted to book us in so she could go home and everything was locked up When booking we were told the dog was free When we left we had go pay E15 for the dog when told we had been told the dog was free they were not interested Chose hotel for view and terrace neither we could enjoy as resturant and bar shut Would not stay there again Glad to leave

    WE booked this guesthouse as a base for trips to Luxembourg and Trier and it was a great choice. Our rooms we very spacious and also the bathrooms attached to them were large. We also enjoyed a served breakfast (we found all we needed), and could park our car in a carpark 3 min walk from the hotel. We enjoyed our stay.

    The location was perfect on the banks of the Sauer river with only a bridge separating Germany and Luxembourg. The hotel had an attached restaurant and pub, which provided great food and beer.
