What a lovely place to stay! The location was amazing – right next to the mountains, with beautiful views and fresh air. Perfect for a relaxing getaway. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed. There were plenty of pans, utensils, and plates, which made things really convenient if you come with the family. The bathroom was clean and well-organized with fresh towels and shower essentials. We were with 3 people and the host made the bed (sofa) for the 3rd person - a super nice detail upon arrival! The main bed was really comfortable, which made for an amazing rest, especially after a busy day! The host is super quick to reply and provides very detailed information on how to get into the unit: a step-by-step routine together with additional pictures of the property. You also get free parking right in front of the balcony, which is great! Would 100% recommend!

The room was beautiful, with the view on the mountains. Staff absolutely wonderful, so kind and helpful. Breakfast was really good, beautifully served and the staff making sure everything we're okay. Conditions also very good, everything exceptionally clean.

This is a wonderful hotel in a quiet location with the most amazing views of the surrounding mountains. We flew into Salzburg and hired a car to drive the 20 minutes to the hotel. The drive was easy and the views were stunning. The hotel is walking distance to Freilassing train station too. The location was perfect for driving through the mountains to visit Berchtesgaden, the Eagle's Nest and Lake Koniggsee, all of which we saw in 1 day. We were given a very warm welcome on arrival and were informed that the restaurant was still open for dinner. The restaurant needs it's own review because it was one of the best meals we had on our trip! The room was the biggest and most functional room we had throughout Europe. There was loads of storage, a nice hot shower of a decent size and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was included with the room and had the most amazing variety on offer.

A very attractive, low-key yet well-designed and well-run hotel in perfect seclusion. Excellent breakfast and dinner on the spacious terrace, a welcoming pool and a relaxing massage at the SPA. Very attentive staff; helped us with a last-minute e-Bike rental (also great). Easy parking, short distances everywhere. Bonus point: The Alphorn musician in the evening!

Have to say, the stay overall was amazing. The Fuchs family were very hospitable and friendly, welcoming us and explaining about the place, activities to do around and more. The rooms are extremely spacious (thanks for the complimentary upgrade), quiet and comfy. Although this is a family run place, we felt right at home and there wasnt any privacy issues. Breakfast was lovely (Thanks Ben). Plenty of activities to do around (The fuchs recommended different things to do around) if you take a bus (nothing much near the premise except small hiking trails, or the town nearby) - Ask the team for the free bus ticket, they will issue it for you. Bus station is just 15 mins walking. Overall it was an amazing stay, and would definitely recommend it to others. (Note to the family, Thanks for the recommendation about Lake Chimsee, we went there and loved it).

    Piding itself is a small town, we didn't "do" much in the town itself. However there is a great bakery and supermarkets, all you'll need nearby. Its a great location as a base for other adventures!
