It is a typical 'siel' harbour town.
It is a typical 'siel' harbour town. Most places have free parking but the seils have expensive car parks. The harbour is very interesting and there is a stall serving local fish rolls whch are well worth a try. It is a pretty little fishing town but I imagine it woudl be really busy in the summer hols as Germany doesn't have a lot of coastline. Bensersiel is the setting for the famous Riddle of the Sands film but in the ten yearas since we first visited it, it has changed with fewer fishing smacks and less cahrm.Guest review byLesleyUnited Kingdom
