Location - very close to Dresden and Meissen, very close to the bike road next to the river (for bike trips - perfect). The neighbourhood was very quiet and calm. The apartment was super clean (I’m still impressed by it), spacious and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable. Last but not least, the hosts - friendly and helpful, available at any time. Spitzhaus is simply wonderful! Beautiful on the outside and the inside, with very friendly and helpful staff and owners. You can really tell this is a family owned and run business. The food Ia exquisite, the wines are local and so well chosen. The atmosphere is relaxed and elegant. The rooms spacious and comfortable. We loved this place and will be back!

of course, the incredibly varied breakfast - together in a family atmosphere! The landlady looked after the guests in a very friendly manner. It was always an interesting and fun start into the day. The location is perfect, close to the river with the Elbe cycle path in front of the house. Only a 15 min walk to the train station heading to Dresden, 25 min walk to the romantic places of Meissen.

    The room was accurate. The problem was that at the time of our announced arrival (19.50) there was nobody at the hotel nor at the restaurant beside it, who belongs to the same enterprise or person... Our reservation said the check in was possible between 17.00 to 21.00 I have to phone to the 'owner' of the hotel. So I have to pay an international phone call as we are from Argentina, not an European country. That phone call cost a quarter of the amount the hotel asks for his rate ..
