It’s ani e small good place .. my trip was too short to describe this town but located in the heart of Germany’s Ruhr area, is famous for its industrial heritage, cultural attractions, and vibrant nightlife. Highlights include the German Mining Museum, Schauspielhaus Theater, and lively shopping and dining districts

It is an industrial city. The pedestrian area and "Bermuda Triangle" were very nice. We went to visit family so it was more of that than any sort of sightseeing. Have been there a few times and always enjoyed the city.

Everything was really good and the apartment met our expectations starting with the kitchen and continuing with the room and bathroom. Very clean, well equipped and welcoming for families! Highly recommended!

Kortumstrasse is great and the Bratwursthaus is the best. Rest of the Center felt a bit difficult to navigate and empty later in the day though admittedly on working days so it might be better in the weekend. Highlander Games has great Board Game Stock but mostly for the German speaking audience. The Matrix is a must go place for a concert. Paddy's Irish Pub may be small but has nice ambience and a great price on the Guinness.

I was in Bochum to visit friends, but was pleasantly surprised with all the city had to offer! The Stadtpark is lovely, with lots of hiking trails and some paddle boats, and the view from the Bismarck tower was very good (and free!). I was surprised how much I enjoyed the Mining Museum underground tour - very informative and fun! There is so much green in the city, and many shopping opportunities and excellent transport. It's also easy to travel to other locations. We visited the half-timber houses of Hattingen and also Dusseldorf (only about 30 min trip by train). Our favourite restaurants were the tapas bar Uno Mas, and the innovative restaurant The Living Room.
